I always thought I was an autumn but would always get compliments when wearing bright, cool lilac. Did an online test and got dark winter!!!

I'm a bright winter and started to embrace my paleness too, just recently bought a bunch of cool toned makeup, since everyone always wear gold and bronze colors I thought baby pink blush and silver highlighter would look bad on me, I was very wrong!

I've had that revelation myself. I have peachy complexion, neutral undertone and im not sure but think cool leaning, hazel green eyes and fair light skin with freckles. cool tones make me look dead when worn on the face. I've noticed that people with warmer skin tend to look good with cool tone Makeup, and vice versa. am I crazy?

As a deep winter who works in beauty: you can definitely wear nudes, I’d just pair them with a darker lip liner to bring back some of that contrast! Really enjoyed the video, definitely had some helpful tips! 🖤✨

Ugh, but they just look blah on winters

I'm a dark winter and once I figured it ,it made so much sense as to why certain never looked right on me lol

I always thought i got warm undertones(deep autumn clear spring or even true spring at one point) Got a color analysis professionally done and i actually learned im a true winter(fully cool undertone). Now i understand why i can almost never find a nude lipstick that would actually suit me(unless it’s pink Red or Purple leaning but brown lipstick look bad on me). My favourite lipstick shades on me are actually deep reds or pink leaning reds(not too dark tho)

Soft dark winter. Would love to hear from other winters about products/shades they love. Cool tones can be hard to find!!

This didn’t take over tone into consideration. I’m a professional makeup artist. Undertone is most important for clothing color choices but over tone can really effect the shade of makeup I use. For example I am a deep winter undertone but a neutral over tone and have to buy a foundation that is a sandy shade (a little yellow). Otherwise my slightly yellow overtone can become green looking if my foundation color has too much pink base. Hope that makes sense. Just something to keep in mind.

Yes! Finally someone like me! I normally use only powder foundation but never found the right tone for my olive neutral cool skin. I am a dark winter NC35 is closest but still too pink. No other MAC shades for for me. I want to try Laura Geller Glow Foundation… If you have any recommendations I would be very grateful❤

Just got into this whole color analysis thing. This was super helpful and made me appreciate how colors flatter my face. I was afraid about bold or colorful lipstick but after looking at a lot of videos I’m pretty sure I am a dark winter. That would surely explain why I end up looking like Slenderman every time I ask to try on a nude lipstick. My lips were just nowhere to be found 😅. Finally embraced that pinker/darker lips make my features pop.

I’m new too! I NEVER wore makeup because I always thought I looked better “natural”. In my mind, if I couldn’t pull off pinky-nudes, how could I wear bolder colors?? It’s turns out I just needed to get rid of all the warm-tones! Now I’m in love with my lavender eyeshadow and fuchsia lips!

I’m true winter and 50+ the not using matte finishes is kinda surprising for me as that’s what is recommended for my age, but I’m not fond of them. I have been debating buying some because of the recommendations that anything else ages a woman, but maybe not if it’s kept subtle.

I have ONLY gold jewlery and always thought I was warm.. but I never bought warm foundation because I looked God awful and stayed away from warm colors, only wearing black 😂 I don't know why it didn't click for me until it was pointed out. Edit: I'm a deep winter

I was categorized as burnished/jewel winter

I thought für the most of my life that I am spring, then summer and now I'm pretty sure that I am a bright winter and I love it 💕

I tought i have true spring colours but when i do test on app i got true winter OMG

I'm an NC20ish in MAC foundations with black hair and medium brown eyes. Would I be a true winter?

Dark winter

Can anyone help me please? I'm confused whether i'm a deep/dark winter or a bright winter. Some tests say that i'm a deep winter, others say i'm a bright winter. One thing's for sure though, my seasonal palette is Winter. My eyes are a bright, deep brown and my hair is more darker than my eyes. My hair has slight blue undertones, and my skin is light when compared to my eyes and hair. (i.e high contrast between features). Camila Mendes' color features are almost close to mine. Both bright and dark colors melt with my skin, and lipstick colors like ruby red, scarlet red, poppy red, magenta, fuschia and deep pinks suit me. Nudes, beiges and orangey lipsticks go against my skin tone. At the same time, maroon, navy blue and espresso brown outfits get me loads of compliments. But personally, i find bright colors to suit my skin tone more than dark colors. The only dark outfit that i like on me is black. Idk I’m blonde but I look best in dark winter colors.

Not yet sure if I'm deep winter or true winter. But I always thought that I'm warm toned (autumn), but I didn't understand why brick red looks so weird on me, it just wasn't working. I checked again and I'm indeed cool toned (winter).

I have a question: can a bright winter wear bright eyeshadow (colors within their palette)? I was in a group in facebook of personal color analysis and I posted eyeshadows inspirations fir bright winters and the admin said that you can't wear eyeshadows that are the same as your color palette (with same intensity,colors,etc). Also other women posted that they don't look good in bright cokor shadows,in spite of "being" a bright winter. But I personally can. I have done it and they look flatering. I also have done makeup for a long time and I've seen women like yhat can wear bright colors as eyeshadows,if they are a bright winrer or spring. So is this "rule" right ir wrong?

as a deep winter i kinda disagree with some stuff, for eye shadows i do think deep winters can do their neutrals gray matte shades even black eyeshadows. Just depends on application, winter colors are always riskier bcuz they aren't seen as "natural" colors. Good video tho! always love color analysis content!

I'm some sort of winter, I think. I lean light and bright with high contrast. However my face can't handle bright blue eyeshadow, bright fuschia lips, or teal green eyeliner. It makes me wonder if I'm actually some kind of bright summer even though I have natural black hair.

Deep winters can also have a neutral undertone ! So you are likely a dark winter :)

Do you recommend any kind of bronzers for Bright Winters? What about how to choose a contour powder/cream?

No bronzer ever! It's too warm/muddy. If you must contour, either use highlighter instead or a very cool gray. Good luck!

I feel you, its the same for me. I love white and black so this is what I wear mostly, and then beigy neutrals which I so love, and I have an orangey dress I adore, I can get away with those colors but I definitely don’t t look my best. On top of that I bleached my very dark hair a honey blonde😂 now if I would wear deep red lipstick it looks off and the grey dress I want to buy doesn’t suit me. The beige one instead looks good, its a desaster 😅Lately I feel I am findig back a bit, but only with lipstick and nail polish shades and I decided to go back to brown hair, I will try to embrace who I am😅
