The last clip from Jordan Peterson was a little confusing in the context of the rest of the video, not quite sure why it was there 🤔 weird, but I wish I could hear it in its actual original context

They had me until I listened to that part. It comes across as tone death without the rest of the context because it overlooks the reasons in which those implications are made by HR. And, essentially doesn’t allow minorities that face disadvantages to enter spaces in which they would thrive in with the right guidance and training. Other than that though I learned a lot of other stuff from the video lol.

Yea that seemed shoehorned in and out of place- diversity isn’t a bad thing, I get it can get overdone if you sacrifice merit just to hit quotas but to blanket the entire idea with a NO seems unnecessarily defensive… otherwise great video!

I have had several careers. I now clean houses with the best I have in me. I'm great at it. I go to different towns daily. I enjoy making things better one house at a time.

Know thy self. Be honest with yourself. Learn yourself like a book and improve yourself every single day. The rest is automatic. Success will be inevitable.

The last statement is unfortunately disappointing. HR departments SHOULD infact level the playing field for ALL potential employees. That's the BEST way to widen the net for all QUALIFIED applicants. The seminars and training is necessary in today's workforce. Studies have consistently showed that diversity adds to the longevity of an organization. 🤷🏾‍♂️. To all of the HR departments..PUSH BACK!

Ditto. I was all in on the positivity of the message right until the end. For a second I thought it was just me. While I agree that hiring should definitely be based on competence, being aware of and not perpetuating old practices that use strong hold ideology that subsequently keeps the playing field unlevel is unacceptable.
