Thank you for all the ideas! I am a crocheter that is currently learning how to knit, so it's very helpful. I would also really recommend the Step by step sweater be Handmade by Florence. It's a free raglan sweater pattern with a full video tutorial explaining all the techniques that you need. I'm knitting it right now and it's great!

Oh thank you! I’m in the same boat but My first sweater was the My First Knit Sweater by Marly Bird and honestly I’m not mad I did it, I learned a lot, but let’s just say I will be unraveling to harvest my beautiful yarn to use in something that looks nicer 😅❤

Agree! I knit the Step by Step sweater too, and it turned out SO nice! Highly recommend.
I am also a beekeeper/knitter/crocheter/love to sew/shuttle tatting, basically all kinds of fiber arts. I love the opening you have on your video with the bees. I love to bring out a chair and a cup of coffee and sit by my hives on weekend mornings, watching them go about their busy lives. No matter how many years go by I never lose the joy of beekeeping and how incredible and gentle these little insects really are. Great video, some of these projects do look like fun, I like the socks, mittens, scarf, and several others.
I might give that lento pullover a try! I have some amazing hand dyed fingering weight yarn, but as a newer knitter I couldn’t find a more unisex looking sweater that would work for plus sizes and also suit my crazy Texas weather!
The Musselburgh Hat really lives up the hype! You can knit it at ANY gauge, the pattern is absolutely genius.
This was great! I love all your podcasts.
This is great to have so many easier patterns in one place. Thank you for this episode!
Your podcast is so beautiful and well organized. I am a new subscriber and a fairly new garment knitter. Thank you for this list... I saw a couple of sweaters that I would like to try! Cheers from Nova Scotia 🍁
Thanks - lovely round-up. I always enjoy the visual of you sitting there. Your palette makes my eyes happy. Today the contrast of the bluey-grayish-greens with the various terra cottas and golds picking up the red in your hair - a treat. Pax tecum.
I think the bundle link is wrong. Thank you for all the great pattern ideas though. I will definitely be looking these up.
Your vocal tone is so pleasant to listen to! I largely choose my podcasts based on the speakers voice and yours is so soothing!
love stumbling upon a new youtube channel where i watch less than 2 minutes of the video and its an immediate subscribe! love your style - such a thoughtful, beautiful intro ☺️
This is PERFECT timing, I’m teaching my sister-in-law how to knit this weekend! I’m going to print off some of these patterns for her.
So excited to try some of these! Thank you ❤
Thank you for putting all that information tigether for us ❤
Thank you for the bundle ❤️❤️ I always love to have begginner friendly projects
Thanks, I'm learning to knit and these are a great list to check out!😊

Thank you for the bundle ️️ I always love to have begginner friendly projects
A great video Kaci! Thank you for your time in researching & making the video. I definitely saw some patterns to add to my favorites. 😊🧶
I'm deathly allergic to bees, but I love them. Your podcast brings me happy knitting and happy bees! Thank you.
Thank you so much for thinking of us beginners. I just started knitting about three weeks ago. So excited to make so many things. Thanks again!
Thanks for the recommendations. Love your podcast. I look forward to them.
Looks like some fun patterns! Stay safe in these awful storms, Kaci!!! 🐝
Great finds for beginners! My niece wants to learn and I think she'll catch on very quickly, so maybe she'll be interested in some of these. And I am working on my first Musselburgh hat now, and I think I'll be doing more of them. They are a nice simple hat that is perfect for knitting on the go 🙂
I'm teaching a beginner's knit class and these easy patterns are so great! I'm definitely recommending some to my new knitters!
great episode!! Thank you, dear!
I just thrifted a huge bag of knitting needles and I love all these patterns you recommend, can't wait to get started!
Great list of projects. I already had a number of them in my Ravelry favorites. And I just bought the My Favourite Things Scarf no. 1 pattern 😃 I would LOVE for you to do other videos like this.
Great selection
Thank you Kaci … you are always so informative in your podcasts A few patterns caught my eye and saved Have a great day !!! Deb🇨🇦
This is a nice selection of knits. I must commend you on the lovely intro segment. TFS. ❤
Hello from St. Louis Missouri!
Great suggestions! I also really like Ruke Knit patterns. As they are really easy too! Thank you!
I just found you and I'm keeping you! LOL. Thank you so much for all these great easy patterns. Can 't wait to try some. sending you love, hugs, prayers.
Great choices!
Thank you for this roundup Kaci! Even though I have been knitting for awhile, I am a person of simple tastes and these patterns really appealed to me. You do such a nice job researching everything and I like that you show the pictures of the finished pieces with each description. Best wishes!
Some of the simplest patters can be the nicest - beginner ones can be great palate cleansers too! I just made my first Lento, only took me a week around work and stuff, I really like those kind of patterns that you can start with then modify them later when you get more experienced. I'm also making a No Sweat Shirt which was on your previous bundle, I love me a hoodie!! love your podcast xx
Hi Kaci, Love the ideas ,especially the simple mittens. I live in MI so I use up a lot!
These are great - thank you!!
Nice video, thank you so much for sharing lovely ideas. Bonjour from France 🇫🇷
This was awesome! Very timely for me. I learned to knit many years ago, but it didn't click and I switched over to crochet. Recently I am wanting to learn to knit again, but I swore off rectangular scarfs years ago in crochet and I never want to go back there!
Thanks ! It’s perfect for me. I want to learn to knit .
I made the T-cosy years ago. Don't forget to attach a broach to the neck. Mine was for Christmas so I found a themed broach at the local thrift store.
I've knit a bunch of classic rib hats 1x1 Purl Soho pattern in their merino cashmere blend yarn. They are so soft. They were mostly Christmas gifts. Two were for friends going through chemotherapy.
Hi Kaci! Your video just popped up in my recommended this evening so I thought I'd have a watch! I love that you have so many different interests! The bee keeping is also very intriguing! So I just subscribed! Looking forward to seeing more of your fibery podcasts! 🧶
Thank you for all these great patterns in one bundle. So many I will knit up. New subscriber to your podcast and am enjoying the episodes. 😀
I chaotically hit like and subscribe one second in 😂
The Sorgenfri scarf will give you a really similar result to the MFT scarf. It does have kfb, M1L and M1R, so a bit more challenging for a beginner but it is free 🎉
Thank you Kaci for all your wonderful ideas. 💕

You got this!
I started knitting vests and cardigans first. I think my very first knit was a cabled vest with a zipper for my husband. Didn’t knit hats or scarves for years.
I'm about to start the Musselburgh hat as my 1st knit in the round project. My mum and I are going to cast on together because she wants a palette cleanser from socks.
I started with the salty days sweater by Veronika Lindberg. My second knit project is a test knit for Sari Nordlund…I figured go big or go home! Before doing either of these projects I took Some cheap yarn and large mm needles and practiced knit and purl stitches in the round then as I got comfortable with that I practiced yarn overs and then knitting or purling two together.
These are great! I want them all. Definitely going to make the slippers right away. With a neon Pom or something.

Wonderful!
This is much appreciated:)
Awesome
I really like your choices! A lot of knitters are quick to call patterns beginner friendly that (in my opinion) aren’t beginner friendly at all. Maybe it’s because we all tend to be humble. Like, if I was able to make this, anyone can (ignoring the fact that I’ve been knitting for three years and made like 20 garments plus countless socks and accessories). I’ve also noticed a lot of people calling themselves beginners even though they have successfully used a lot of more advanced techniques. Maybe we should all try to give ourselves more credit.
Love her shorty socks and she does a tutorial here on youtube one how to knit them on 2 or 3 different kind of needle methods. Earthtonesgirl
Great. My daughter ... who's about your age! .. is a beginner knitter. I'll point her this way. Thanks Kaci.

Great pattern selection! I would suggest the "Simple House Slippers" by Temple of Knit as a super easy and easy to fit pattern. I made 7 pairs in less than a month this past Christmas as last minute gifts for out of town family, they all fit great.

Great suggestion!
I just want to go straight to cables!!
Hi Kaci, I loved this video. I learned to knit many many years ago, only flat knitting. I love the patterns that knit in the round top down, and am about to start one. My dilemma is that I hold the needles the “old way” my mum taught me. I have seen some “flip” way?? Knitting Videos. Can you suggest a site where I can get a very easy to follow instruction to knitting with the round needles.? Please. Cheers fro. Australia 🇦🇺
Some other great respurces for beginner patterns are Mamainastitch and Bromfield Knits. Most of their patterns are free.
I know how to knit but I need help getting this scarf done for my son! Do you do Zoom or a way you could just guide me a little so I can get motivated again to get it done.
Hi Sweet Kasi, I am a crocheter of 47 years, which means absolutely NOTHING in knitting! Lol, I feel pretty lost most of the time, I will throw it across the room & cuss and then go back and get it later to start again. I am doing pretty well in knit stitch & hate the Purl Stitch. My husband bought me a set of knit picks needles for me on Mothers Day, and I really like them a lot. But girl, I can't quit this journey because @ Christmas this year, he went to my LYS when they were having a 25% off sale and bought me a large set of chiagoo. Why did he do this before I told him I wanted these?? And as you probably know, your yarn will fly off. I want to make a cardigan but I'm a 3xl so I will probably make it for my 51 yr old XS SISTER. HEY IF SHE WANTS TO EATS CARROTS & GRASS THATS HER BUSINESS! SO Thank You so much for these patterns. I have tried making the Sophie Scarf and I can't get it to work. I will figure this out if it kills me! You have a great weekend coming up and eat a honey biscuit for me. Hugs, charlene
I couldn’t find the bundle.
How could it be possible for fingering yarn in Lento that it gives 15 stitches on 10cm? 🤔
Great batch of patterns! Side note: are you wearing a dress or top? Where from? Beautiful color.
