Young Sheldon did a fantastic job of referencing and slowly incorporating Sheldon's quirks. It would have been cool had Jim Parsons chimed in and said something like, "Technically, Missy was wrong. I did not meet someone at Caltech... It was at a coffee shop between Caltech and my apartment." Amy: "Oh big difference." Sheldon: "Indeed." Amy: [sighs]

"I have a girlfriend, her name is science" reminds me of Enjolras in Victor Hugo's novel "Les Miserables." When his friends joke about the likelihood of him finding a girlfriend, he says his girlfriend is Patria, or in other words, his homeland, France.

At least Georgie was open to it. Even if his wife had the final say. 😅

Note that Sheldon was growing up surrounded by strong minded (and often stubborn) women. No wonder that despite Sheldon's many character flaws, misoginy is never one of them. I also love how literally ALL female characters in the series are strong minded. There is not even one mild manner housewife who obeys her husband day and night like the typical stereotype. Even the dean of East Texas University is a woman!

It would've been nice if Paige was his sister, she has a lot of Missy's personality but could also relate to him intellectually.

I'm just f****** laughing at this show ,kid's voice that's supposed to be Sheldon but does not sound nothing like Sheldon in anyway ,

What’s frustrated me is that in previous season, Sheldon was feeling regret about snitching on Missy, he wasn’t enjoying being hated by his sister and sincerely was hoping that she would forgive him. She even give him back his walkie as a way of saying that she truly no longer want to do anything with him again and Sheldon was heartbroken. Why the writers didn’t come up with a plot about Sheldon and Missy reconciling and Missy finally admitting, like Shelly did, that she genuinely care for him. Because this season practically act like the last episode of season 6 never happened, not only the plot in Germany feel completely pointless now but we never see Missy taking back her walkie. It’s truly a shame that they messed up the siblings relationship, at this rate, I think Missy wouldn’t feel any regret if his brother was killed.

Yea no I also feel like they kinda just ruined their relationship now, Sheldon and Missy used to pick at each other but still genuinely loved each other, Sheldon’s referenced that in his high school graduation too. Now there’s not a single scene of one expressing love for the other.

We already know from The Big Bang Theory that Sheldon and Missy eventually reconciled, and Sheldon and Georgie eventually fell out, though.

True, even in S6, Sheldon was showing that he truly love his sister, he got worried about her when he find out that she was hanging out with a mean girl and he was heartbroken when she told him that she hates him and would never miss him. Why they didn’t give Missy a moment like that ( maybe in the final episode but I have no hope ).
