Young Sheldon: Meemaw And Dr. Sturgis Spend The Night Together (Season 1 Episode 21 Clip) | TBS
Dr. Sturgis says no to Connie’s invitation to spend the night at her house. Concerned, Connie confronts Dr. Sturgis about why he rejected her invitation. Dr. Sturgis explains himself, they make up, and he spends the night with Connie. The next morning, Sheldon spies on Meemaw and Dr. Sturgis kissing on the front porch and Sheldon tells his parents that he wants to go Meemaw’s house to congratulate them on their first sleepover. George and Mary attempt to bond with their other kids. Mary eats dinner with her son, Georgie. George shows his daughter, Missy, how to crack lobster at Red Lobster.

I know the clip is supposed to be about Meemaw and Sturgis... but I really liked George with Missy there.
Young Sheldon does have scenes which we would like to see like Father-Daughter spending time together, Old people dating without judgement etc. One of my favourite shows.

This show was so well casted. It’s about Sheldon, but I love all the characters and their issues.

George is such a good dad in this show
When I was a child we went to this seafood restaurant on the shore, my little sister had to be no older than 8. She wanted to order the lobster, and since we were on vacation my parents allowed it. Well they brought it out and placed it just like they did here, front-facing and staring my little sister down. She let put a blood-curdling scream right there in the middle of the dining room and started crying. XD
1:38 the fact they played this clip at George's funeral makes this scene hit even harder

Annie looks so great. Her figure is amazing. She has maintained it!! Love her. Red Lobster back then was THE one place to go for good seafood. Ppl still dressed up to go out to eat. Cute scene.

At least they're doing a good job of setting up Georgie's frustration when he appears in the TBBT? I'm pretty Georgie said that his parents put everything they could toward making sure Sheldon would succeed, leaving him to work for everything he had himself?

Meh, in seasons 5/6 everything seems to be going in Georgie/Missy's way anyway, and Sheldon either takes a back role or fails/doesn't do as good.

I've never watched this show, but I'm pretty sure she got pregnant before they (the parents) got married. Georgie was trying to understand how he was born so soon after their wedding or whatever.
George could only afford 1 Red lobster and that was for Missy. Missy should have shared it with her dad. Infact the first bite dunked in butter should have gone to George by Missy. 🤷‼️
