There are very few TV shows that have impacted me emotionally. This is definitely one of those. Especially hard as I lost my mother last year and losing George reminded me of all the things I didn't get to say to her before she passed. Amazing show and very well done with ending it.

I lost my mom not long ago too and like you the clips of the show's ending hit me hard and felt authentic. It felt so real I have yet to actually watch the finale but I definitely will. I kind of feel like the writers and actors honored and acknowledged the way we all process loss differently yet profoundly in our own lives. My sympathy to you in your loss.

The last three episodes were PERFECT! Anyone who has lost someone dear , these episodes was definitely emotional. I definitely loved this. Now rewatching Young Sheldon from the beginning it’s even more emotional for my wife and I. I’m 61yo and I recall my favorite last episodes… M*A*S*H, Bob Newhart Show when he woke up from his dream, And the last three Episodes of YOUNG SHELDON!!! All other shows and deaths in them could never come close. Amazing how well a tv series can be made without hollywierd’s wokeness ruining it all.

I enjoyed the ride! The final 2 episodes, I cried the entire time. THE BEST SHOW I'VE SEEN IN YEARS! Wonderful acting throughout the years. Best wishes!❤

I cried a lot. I’ve watched this show in real time since episode 1. They did a nice job. There’s a few things I’d love to see.. like Sheldon & Amy’s kids.. but they wrapped it nicely.

You are right. I get so irritated when a show ends and the ending is nothing but a dud. This show went out in style. I thought the same thing about tbbt.

You guys have created a lifetime of memories with the two shows, especially Young Sheldon. It’s almost like hearing people thinking out loud quite literally.

Anyone else notice how Sheldon looks like a Young Tom Cruise with a straight face?

i was emotional with the ending esp. when i felt that the episode from last week might be the time that the father will pass away coz he was on the ladder and it happened but he passed away of heart attack. then these last two episodes were very touching and a sigh….kinda bitter sweet for me. 😢

I'm just recently tuning in to this show. It's great, and I'll be catching up, after starting at the end. The finale is beautiful. Tears at this deeply moving scene-- Sheldon's regret. Strikes a painful chord, so many regrets in my life. Very moving show.

Looking forward to watching it.also looking forward to seeing the show with Mandy and Georgie

I would agree about adding the children. Maybe his daughter taking his hand while walking from the SUV to the hockey arena...young Leonard runs ahead but stops to turn and shout, "Thanks for coming, Dad. I love you." To which Sheldon gives an instantaneous look of surprise, but after a moment of reflection, smiles and shouts, "love ya back."

Really loved the show..... sad its over now.

I love how the tbbt and young sheldon were woven together in so many plot lines. There were so many mentions in tbbt that were brought to the forefront in young sheldon, and the unltimate was sheldon talking about losing his dad on tbbt. I thought it was just brilliant how they did that. You would be watching and episode of young sheldon and then it would hit you that sheldon mentioned that in tbbt. Excellent.

Could not have ended this program any other way. Fantastic ending to this great series

I’ll really miss this show. I’ve loved every episode. I hate to see it and. I can’t get into The Big Bank Theory as much as Young Sheldon. Thank you to the cat & crew for this brilliant show.

I can’t really find the exact video for the last 2 episodes of Young Sheldon re: funeral & then the memories. I really wanted to see these but wasn’t near a tv that would help me watch it. Rather sad that I missed out on this finale. 😔😥darn it.

Lance Barber WAS in the series finale. He appeared as a disguise audience member at the funeral.

That’s hard to see the set taken down. It bothers me. It’s hard for me to accept. That’s partly why it’s triggered my tears. 😥😭

Are they gonna do replays on regular tv? Some might wanna watch it again.

I haven't watched the ending yet. I'm still watching everything on Netflix. I'm halfway through season 5. Just when CeeCee was born. But I've seen most of the clips and interviews with the cast. Kinda cant wait to get there and also don't want it to end

It’s right up there with the best series finales of all time imo.

I think gorgie needs a season for himself on how he became sucessful

Too much was crammed into the final two episodes. We didn't get to see the family begin adjust to George's death. when we said goodbye to them they were in complete disarray. We needed an episode or two AND an additional 3-month time Jump . it was a COMEDY! the beloved characters deserved to be seen in a positive light! We were left with only immense sadness

I ‘m so very sorry. That’s gotta make this even more difficult. My nephew was killed in a motorcycle accident on the day of the solar eclipse and I think it just made me cry that much harder during the last episode, so I kind of know what youre talking about. Sorry to hear about your dad.

The ending felt a little rushed. They should’ve spread it out over 5 episodes at least

It was the actor! He even had a fart machine in the casket to light the mood of the group in between takes.

Lance Barber (the actor who plays George) also can be seen sitting in the pews at the funeral but dressed up a blonde haired woman towards the back of the church. He actually named this woman character “Georgina”.

I think the last episode memoir was the only bad episode of the whole show. It felt super rushed

I was dissappointed

I actually didn't love the final episodes all that much to ne honest. I just felt that they should have leaned more into the drama, it just felt that they did not go all the way with it, plus I would have liked to see Sheldon's childen. It also felt like a missed opportunity for something really special in the end, but it was okay. I just thought there was more to mine there that wasn't touched upon, but if you loved it, wonderful.

@@48musicfan To me Young Sheldon's ending didn't even feel like a true ending. It feels like Young Sheldon (in a sense b/c I know Sheldon won't be in it) is just transforming into Georgie and Mandy. Surely the other family members will reappear, they still all live close to each other. It is like how All In The Family became Archie Bunker's Place and there are a million other examples. Roseanne become The Connors. Many other examples.
