During his time at PSG and those first couple of years at Barca, there was something really special about the way he would just drive at the opposition's defence fearlessly, even knowing that many defenders would gladly cut him down, with the threat of injuries, etc. As Brazilian fullback Maicon once said in an interview; he was physically much stronger than people realised. That mixed with being fearless about expressing his unorthodox skills and trademark flair, even in such tight situations, again and again in that instinctive and unsuppressed style for the love of the game and for our excitement. Watching La Liga and the Premier League live around 2004 to 2006 was for me the Golden Era of Football. In my opinion, the pinnacle of what the beautiful game has to offer in a more raw and authentic way than what we have now. Zidane being another perfect example. Pele and Maradona's time was fantastic for sure, and the Ronaldo/Messi rivalry was a great privilege to witness but the combination of physicality and flair of the early 2000's makes it seem as though football will never reach those heights again.. It's unacceptable that nowadays some people compare Neymar with this dude. I'm a big fan of Neymar, he's a real monster who has unfortunately suffered brutally from serious injuries over the last six years. But Ronaldinho... he was an alien!!! Ronaldinho is the pure definition of art, magic, talent and ability to improvise. Magician, absolute genius!

Where were you at Ronaldinho's absolute peak between 2003 and early 2006? Obviously, you weren't even born. For you to be able to talk about the player, you have to have seen him play in real time or at least have watched his games in full on KZread. Study more, talk less. These years are his prime in dribbling especially 04/05, I always prefered the Dinho who took risks many times and very fast compared to the heavier Dinho who rarely take risks, almost only use his passing skills for being effective…

Even 10% of his skills would make football more enjoyable these days ... As a real Madrid fan, I'm happy he went to Barcelona. He made football beautiful ❤️
