Beautiful! That is his wife, at the time, Peggy, who died shortly after they got divorced. Very romantic song! You are so right--the old songs have a lot of soul and love and humanity and sincerity. There is something to the hertz of old songs that affect the listener in positive ways, as compared to the beat of todays "songs" not to mention the over-production of the junk out today. Thank you for putting this out there. Yes, words and voice and music--awesome!!

I'm 76 years old and love to see a young one listening to music of an era that I loved. Don' t ever say it is music you missed, how could you if you still were not born, but rather as music you are still exploring. you can go back in the past, almost like time travelling, and discover beauty as far back as music was recorded in whichever way.

It's hard to articulate how much musicians of the 70s (in particular) wore their hearts on their sleeve.... Deeply loving lyrics, and unabashed declarations back then. Certainly Neil Young. Think about Nights in White Satin for example for full-on public exaltation.. Or Harry Nilsson Can't Live... Wow.

Great reactions, enjoy how you get into the music, especially the 70’s . would love to hear your reaction to live version of Kashmir from Led Zeppelin and also the live version of Stairway to Heaven. Jimmy Page the guitarist is a legend
