For those who are asking why he cut the water drain tile into 4 pieces even though he already made a hole for the drain ,it is to provide an slope angle from four sides so that all the water flows in the drain easily.while placing the four cut pieces he kept the inside edges at a lower depth

your point of view is ok but not the real one. the real reason why he replace the tiles are because at 2:32 he cut it with face up (totaly wrong!!) and also he cut more at the inside edges of cut and then look at 2:45 where are already cut by unknown but for sure not from and there the edges from inside are perfect.

Great skills, but tiles will eventually fall off just by the technique he uses he does not add pressure to the tiles to bond strong to the cement he just set then in place that's a no no to me.

In Asia it’s not dirt it’s a mixture of compacted sand with some cement mixed in. Unlike the US they don’t pours slab, only surrounding footings then fill in with moist sand / cement and compact it then grade it level which acts as a foundation on ground floor. They have cement foundations for any off ground floors kzread.info/dash/bejne/eJqArKhqYbPOc8o.html
