It's really interesting to watch this now. Rarely have I seen an interview in which Madonna displayed a quality that I would call "friendly." This one is an exception. Clearly, her narcissism hadn't fully bloomed yet!

Madonna had a sense of her own style that everyone copied and people wanted to be like her and she rose to the top and knew what she wanted and she was walking the streets of NYC and she worked hard and she was huge in the 80s 90s 2000s and now she is done with her Celebration Tour and I wonder if she would retire or do another album.

pretty honest. that smell reminds me of canal street, china town, although I did buy a comfortable futon there. delivery was a bit nightmarish though, had to haggle with the delivery man at the bottom of the stairs, fortunately he did it for free, even although the elevator was out and we had to take it via the stairs. To much hope in New York, but at least we got some designs into the Brooklyn Museum and recently the Metropolitan on the island. I don't personally adulate so much but this woman has given more than most for a very long time, it is commendable. good luck.

Not all entertainers need to be politicians, Madonna has a near Genius IQ and can clearly Think about and expand political and philosophical ideas A very rare gift almost as rare as Beyonces good looks and vocal abilities. She's an average person with an unusual talent and has never tried to be anyone else. why does she have to be a spokesperson for feminism, she seems to be doing pretty well in a world that doesn't favor the female gender.

No, she isn't a New Yorker girl, but since age 5 she wanted to came to NY... that only happened in 1978 when Madonna won a scholarship to dance in Alvin Ailey's American Dance Theater. It was a 6 weeks Summer workshop but she never returned to Detroit. Dreams came true.

That's true, but mostly the negative things didn't come out until her mom died and her dad remarried. She said she resented him for that and rebeled against his rules. She was sodomized once when she was living in new york. I think she didn't become totally cold until soon after the aids epidemic, I remember her saying it was hard watching many of her friends die and hearing everyone call it the gay disease. It's not that suprising she shut out for a while after that.
