Young entrepreneur runs her own business, making custom pens

A young entrepreneur believes the pen is mightier than the allowance. Anna Williams, 14, is in her 5th year of business as a penmaker, and has sold more than 200 handmade pens in the last year. Lauren Lyster reports on the entrepreneur.

    This video was put out right about the time I discovered pen turning. I'm not really into selling them but it's a great hobby.

    This is so awesome. Only thing is that the lil kid needs to tie her hair properly before working on the wood lathe or the drilling machine. Heartened to know that the Fountain pens have a new lease of life at the hands of this Angel. God Bless.

    Great job! I wish I was able to make metal pens here at home (I am only able to do any kind of manufacturing when I go to my home country because that is where my grandfather lives who also has all of the tools). I remember, starting in 4th/5th grade, I made such business off of duct tape stuff. I would make all kinds of things from wallets to whole entire duct tape tuxedos. And people payed good money for it too! Although when I make things, I usually do it purely for my own pleasure rather than for business. I'm just not the type of person to start a business :P
