#shorts video showing the young Drum Major lead Lathallan School Pipe Band, as they march off along Johnshaven Harbour in Scotland. This was on Thursday 27th June 2024 after this display on the harbour for their 60th anniversary celebrations at Johnshaven in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The tunes being played were When the Battle's o'er into I See Mull on their march off.
This event brought together Lathallan School pipers and drummers from past and present at Johnshaven in Aberdeenshire Scotland. Prior to this display, the band, led by piping instructor Mr John Nevans, had gathered at the grave of Pipe Major Harry Stott to perform 2 new tunes composed by Mr Nevans in memory of the band's founders in 1964, PM Harry Stott and Mr Jock Clarke.
