Rapper Young Chris of State Property sat down for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started off speaking to Shawn Prez about being part of hip-hop history alongside fellow Philly rapper Freeway. From there, Young Chris spoke about living in North Philly growing up, where he excelled in school until he started getting in the streets in high school. During the conversation, Young Chris spoke about his friendship with Neef Buck, which goes back to childhood, and Chris revealed that Neef got him into rapping. Young Chris also detailed watching Beanie Sigel come up in Philly, watching him sign to Roc-A-Fella, and how he linked up with Beanie to form State Property. Moving along, Young Chris detailed meeting Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel’s beef with The Lox, resolving the beef, Jay shouting him out in “Takeover,” and being around during Jay-Z and Nas’ beef. Young Chris also detailed his time at Roc-A-Fella, doing the “State Property” movie, and various members of State Property getting into legal troubles.

As a near 50yr old, I love jay been an influence on my life since 94/95, its like the hustle life we lived in high school he captured it on Reasonable doubt & the streets is watching album, but when he took Young CRIS's flow, he literally elevated as an artist, you can hear cris cadence in.. the blueprint, Unfinished Business ( best of both worlds 2 ), blueprint 2, black album, kingdom come & American gangster < was my favorite jayz album ) the blue print 3, I still have all JayZ's CD's & listen too them faithfully too this day on my PS4, Cris Should've been a bigger artist, he still is a flame spitter too this day👑🎯 Miss the Rocafella Days🕊🍾😇💯✌

This was a phenomenal interview. You guys both did a great Job. I respect how much knowledge you had already coming to the table. I love how you're able to ask tough questions and not sound like an instigator doing it. The only questions you missed I wanted asked was ...what did it feel like when 50 hit the scene. Recall the time Jay z put you guys on notice about 50 coming. And address the rumors about Jay-Z biting your style. It was said Jay-Z was stealing your cadence, and swag...speak to that!!! I don’t understand why It took damn near the whole interview for him to get into Neef! He’s asking constantly about Beans & Jay…, and I’m sitting here wondering when he gonna go in depth about his rhyme partner only to give Y.G. only a couple of questions and move on to something else. I was waiting to hear how their relationship is. Do they still keep up; and some other things.
