AC AC I’m doing okay. My healing is slower than expected on my right side. I just have a hard time coping with how my body looks now but in stay positive and think about all the positive gains that I’ve overcome. As of right now I’m cancer free. And that I’m itself is a blessing.

AC AC hi there. Thank you for your kinds words. I’m not sure what is AC , TC? I finished chemo and had the surgery on 11/14.

Have you ever considered how many lives -- and families -- you've saved by courageously sharing your story? I weep for what you've endured; but, cheer for what you've conquered!

I am 26 just got diagnosed in March. Love her story!!!!!

Can anyone plz help me in this regard...I had mammography..it showed abnormality...then ultrasound...she suggested while doing ultrasound that the lump is seen n it should be removed soon...then I visit breast specialist..she adviced me biopsy...I did n reports r clear showing benign lession..but still m worrying as my breast feels so heavy and itching on breast is still there...

My wife is 34, she was diagnosed just 3 days ago. We’re devastated but we’ll get through this. It all started when she was pregnant & about to gave birth to our first born son. When she gave birth and trying to breast feed our baby, she felt a lump on her left breast. The nurse said those are probably blocked milk ducts. Since my wife doesn’t have enough milk to breast feed, we just started to feed formula to our baby. 2 months later the lump is still there & we ask the doctor for a mammogram. Then ultrasound & then biopsy. To be honest when we found out about this, it was like a shot to the heart. First thing I thought was our 3 month old baby. Tomorrow we’ll gonna have the appointment for surgery preparation & the following treatment. I just want to share our story so I can vent out all this pain inside my chest.

@@peacenow42 please don't dishearten urself and your daughter, there's solution for everything, gather up the courage to fight The battle, always keep ur daughter in happy mood, above all shift to plant based diet, and stop all kinds of sugar, for sweetness just have fruits and dates

Thanks God coz I’m 1 of the ovarian cancer survivor, and TIL now I’m still reaching out all cancer survivors.

I was in my later 30's when I got it and I had to go through 8 rounds of chemo 33 radiation all while taking care of two babies in diapers..Very very dark times in my life..Everyone wanted to bring over food but no one wanted to help me with my babies and it was the most difficult task of all, vomiting and being in extreme joint pain while trying to care for two little ones..Almost gave up taking chemo..Pray I never walk that path ever again.

Thank you..It's been 12 years now and I do feel blessed to be alive as I have spoken to loved ones of breast cancer family members who didn't survive who had the same type and stage of breast cancer I had.. Now I'm trying to get Insurance to approve reconstructive surgery and like always they are dragging their feet. Sad that I have to fight insurance to get that when I've already been through so much.

I thought something was in place through the Government that would force Insurance companies to pay for reconstruction after a mastectomy but I'm realizing it's not, we are still fighting for the right to look and feel like we did before cancer tried to kill us..

mammograms should be available to women as of 18 years old and be a yearly thing for check ups. theres no reason why so many women should be told theyre too young to have one possilbly walking around with breast cancer unaware all because doctors and others feel theyre too young for one, cancer doesnt care how old you are every woman should have access to medical testing to prevent things or detect things like this before its become aggressive and too late

It's ashamed she had to insist on a mammogram

Thank you I have had a double mastectomy and 8 rounds of chemo therapy since my diagnosis. My reconstruction was in December. My one year is in a few weeks and I am getting my port removed today.

Rose who told you there is no cure for cancer? I know alot of people had cancer and 4 stages cancer and they just made it and survived! Its all about to stay positive and strong , dear kim dont listen to anyone you are amazing and lm very happy to hear that you free cancer , i have 4 stages cancer and im only 21 yrs old and living alone i have no one with me amd i still work everyday to get the chemo cuz its not free here but i know the god is with me and i know we will all make it much love❤️❤️

1:15 grrrr that makes me SO angry her doctor said blood coming from her breast was nothing!!! We all need to advocate for ourselves like she did! We shouldn’t have to, but we must!!! I felt a lump in my left breast. I DIDN’T feel the other 2 tumors. I was 4 months overdue for a yearly mammogram. I suuuuure wish I’d gotten it, could have possibly avoided needing chemo. I was diagnosed the day after my 47th bday. Pre menopausal. Get those yearly mammograms ladies 💕

My best friend was just diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer at the age of 25 two weeks ago. Doctors recommending a double mastectomy with reconstruction. She has family history of breast cancer.
