Don't worry kiddo. We all miss, even with experience. One time I played in an adult league softball game in left field. I thought for sure the ball was coming right to me, & it sailed over my head. You'll catch on (no puns intended) in no time !👍

Hey Zack! This is Noah (the ball boy from your last video) I wanted to comment what i'm about to tell you on your last video, but I didn't know whether you'd see it or not. it was a pleasure meeting you and if you're ever back in Miami for a game let me know! I actually happened to get quite a good amount of the 30th anniversary baseballs (like 3 or 4 in great condition). anyways I'm sure you saw already but I warm up the left fielder (typically Bryan de la Cruz) and throw a ball out to the center fielder (now Dane Myers). I get these balls from a bag that the bullpen pitching coach gives me before each game. And I saw that there where some 30th anniversary balls inside said bag, I asked the coach if I could take them home and he said yes! Long story short i'd be willing to give you one if you want whenever you come back to Miami. :) Love your videos man keep up the great content 🙌 -from Noah⚾

And I did figure that might be the case. but I think you're in luck because I'm staying a little longer in Miami because the trip I told you about got postponed by a few months (which I'm actually not to upset about). so If you do ever come back I can hook you up with a ball as a "official marlins employee" 😂.

I try to be generous with foul balls because I remember I heard this one quote from Michael Jordan where he basically explained, that for some people it may be the only game they'll ever be able to go to. so I try to make it as fun as possible for said fans. :) - the only side effect of being a ball boy are the echo's of "can I get a foul ball?" that go through my head 😂 (this is a joke of course I don't mind kids asking for baseballs whatsoever)

yeah jon jay is the most humble guy Ive ever met, i got his autograph in 2015 while on a tour of Busch Stadium. he was on the IL at the time and he was just on the field taking flyballs and playing catch with Jamie Garcia, the cardinals were on the road so it was just Jamie and Jon

11,843 and yes! I try to avoid crowded games, mostly because it's way more fun for me and easier to film. The money isn't a factor in making those decisions.

what a bummer no commemorative ball! I am putting my money that you will be back to get one! That can't catch a cold guy was a highlight for sure! I respect him turning down a ball from you. I guess he figured he can't count it towards as his first ball since it wasn't from a player or employee!

Good evening from Chicago Zack kids just finished your video. Understand that’s the rule not allow people to get the ball, but it’s not a good rule for fans. No one cares about that only that security guard…whatever he thinks only good luck for his life. Just told kids that how hard to catch A ball, they appreciated that first game in Chicago and got a ball from you.

Instead of the player getting annoyed at the fan that can’t catch a ball, he should be thinking the fan in question wasn’t actually taught how to effectively catch a baseball, instead of getting mad, teach the person the mechanics and techniques of catching a baseball, it’s not the fan’s fault he doesn’t know how read a thrown and hit ball in how to catch it on the fly or a ball thrown. There’s always room for understanding and compassion.
