I’ve been invited a few times to bear hunt but NC season is prime time when we’re running deer dogs hard but I thoroughly enjoyed this video and might actually try it sometime!

You never been hunting of any style? You should try it just once, you may like it. Definitely different and special to harvest and even butcher your own meat. But I understand some people just don’t like to hunt and that’s completely ok

Definitely would try if the opportunity presented itself but im definitely not going out of my way. But definitely will look into it just incase. Most definitely wanna be that guy if I do. Anything you’d wanna let an inexperienced hunter know

The real hunters are the incredible Dogs ! Is there a way you can get a camera on the lead dogs ? I had a mutt who worked rabbit, squirell, phesant , ground hog . Hunting bear has to be great .

Ive watched this one a few timew love it,id like to see less hounds ,thats alot lol.just kidding u a little but i believe your pack with one more with a little more nose and your in there.them little kemp dogs can move so breed you a little more nose in them lol.

A pack of dog scare a bear up a tree that’s all I need to know. It’s not hunting. I felt guilty when I was baiting bear.

Only people who have never shot under pressure and only at paper targets won't understand how much you're adrenaline messes with your aiming. Those who say you need to practice more are delusional. Even veterans who have been deployed many times still get affected by adrenaline when shooting. Armchair experts will always cry about something. I missed a charging Cape Buffalo 2 times and luckily a backup shooter took it out with a 3rd shot. I am an avid hunter. Been hunting big and small games my whole life and I missed twice. Adrenaline is a heck of a drug. Just walking around South African bush on a spot and stalk hunt makes your hands shale like crazy. You never know what is going to charge from around a tree or bush. It was the hippos I feared more than anything out there. They are mean bastards. Especially Old Bulls who are alone and kicked out of the hippo pod, they are always ready to charge and delete you.

Id hate to be in a gunfight with the gentleman in overalls. 2 follow up shots one practically on the move with rapid reloads in a bolt gun. I dont think it was a mishap at all. Sometimes animals just dont die instantly. Its a part of hunting. He made it a point to ensure he didn't let the bear leave wounded. Even laid out the plan if the first shot didn't kill prior to making the shot. Id be surprised if he didn't have 40+ years of experience behind him.
