Thanks for making Villa Bohol #20 and first up on the playlist. We've made significant changes since your visit. We have Bohol's 1st Pickleball court! It's the fastest growing sport in the world. All the bathrooms have water heaters now, and one of the upstairs bathrooms has a complete remodel. Also the formal dining room is fully airconditioned now. We;re also freshening up all the bedrooms... -B

This guy deserves a million subs. He definitely go to all hotels & resorts before making the top 10 or 20 videos. While other channels just randomly chose a few hotels & resorts then choose what they feel is the best.

My family and I are going home to Philippines this summer and Bohol is one of our summer destinations. I went through your Bohol videos and your vlog is like a one-stop for anyone who wants to check out possible hotels or villas to stay especially for my family with small kids. Your video got everything (food, rooms, rates, facilities, etc) and I am very thankful to your videos. I watched every bit of it as of the much-needed details before I book a reservation. Also you gave out your honest comment about everything. No sugar coating! I like that. I don't usually give a comment here in YT, (I only watch) but this time, I think I should... Very helpful and informative. You're doing an incredibly excellent job and I wish you all the best. I can't imagine the days you've spent checking in these resorts and hotels, as well as putting all these videos together for a comprehensive result. Well done. PS I also subscribed to you. 😄

Thanks so much for your comments. Appreciate it. I do put a lot of work into them, sometimes I even go back to a hotel to finish things off if I felt I missed something. If you are going to Bohol, you may want to put Anda on your radar. I'm currently putting together a vlog on where to stay and if you like a area that's more secluded than Panglao it maybe something you want to look into. I have done a couple of resorts already in the top 10/20 vlogs. Anyhow take care and hope you have a great vacation in Bohol.

That’s really my target place because we will be somewhere in Ubay and looking at the map, it’s a closer drive compared to Panglao. Although I am wondering if you can recommend a beach resort in Ubay? In case you have checked some place there, I would definitely appreciate any recommendations. 🤩 By the way, I also have a YT channel for my family and editing videos for YT is extremely demanding and exhausting. Another superb video, Rob. You 'humanise' it through such interviews as with Helen (if I have her name correct) from Wander Nest (whose comprehension of English was excellent). Your generosity shines through such as when you bought the staff a pizza lunch. No one has reviewed Wander Nest on TripAdvisor so let's hope someone stays there who does, to get another perspective. When you very occasionally encounter poor service, such as from the Eskaya manager, you're not afraid to inform us. No doubt as you said to another viewer, the editing would take hours. The end result is worth it! Your videos are incredibly informative. You know what travellers want, and you point odd potential disadvantages such as 'basic rooms' or 'you'll need your own transport'. (Mind you, generally speaking, in Philippines, a tricycle or other transport is usually not far away, and mostly extremely good value for money).

Cheers Edmund. The staff were so nice there it felt like hanging out with friends there. I do find if there's no transport the reception area always has a contact they can organise to pick you up. Bohol has got some impressive future plans with new resorts too. Henann's got a new resort opening soon, South Palms next door has a impressive resort opening soon. Modala has some new luxury villas getting built and the Marriott is planning on building a 5 star resort in Panglao too.

Yeah doing a trail for 6 months is a good idea. No matter what people tell you it's only really yourself will really know if it's for you. They all have their pro's and cons. I travel more as a tourist so I don't see things really as an "expat". I really show the ins and outs if you plan on travelling for a holiday.

They have their own bfs. We just collaborated together. My life isn't incredible, believe me. I spend more time in a room editing than out on these adventure. The last 4 months I've been basically just sitting in a room editing every day. It's tiring, boring and lonely! It's not a life to be jealous of!

I try to make it informative and real - like the pros and cons. Hopefully I help people decide on a place or hotel the suits them best. I put a lot of effort into them.
