What $500 a Month in Philippines Gets You | HOUSE HUNT 🇵🇭
The Philippines is a relatively affordable country in comparison to the US. In this video, I search Bohol, Philippines for the best quality rooms for the most affordable price. The Philippines is known for beautiful Filipino islands like the one you see here in Bohol, Philippines. Thank you for watching!

Please be aware that lower floor units are much cooler than those on the top floor. Attic insulation is virtually nonexistent in the Philippines.

Totally right! I'm living in a top floor unit in the 1st residence appearing in the video and didn't expect it to be that hot. Some friends are staying in a low floor unit here and the difference is huge. But on the other side the top floor units are much brighter

@@travelescapesOFFICIAL Well it is. Seems like you are looking at hotels and their monthly deals. No local would live there. Try apartments that are 6 month deals. Good point about electricity. In the Philippines it is expensive, usually second only to Singapore in SE Asia. Depreciating peso = higher fuel costs. and this is passed on to consumers. Higher rates also affect others like telcos and ISPs that have to keep equipment cool.

I think you could live on a low budget, just like you can travel like a backpacker and travel cheap. Personally I would not want to have a small budget and minimal lifestyle but some are ok with just hanging out. For me it’s necessary to be able to enjoy gym time, swimming, oceans, cycling and tennis. Plus of course traveling to nice resorts and island hopping. I guess it’s how you want to live and spend your time. I can’t imagine not having extra money to travel and enjoy other places either in the Philippines or around Asia?
Great options Consider some 800-1000 places if possible
Why are there no people in this video? Besides yourself and the agent that you talk to at each place, no people at any of the pools or walking around the hotel common areas. Looks nice, but I don’t know if I could live so far away from my children, who probably wouldn’t be able to visit there more than once every three to five years.
Excellent video. 🎉 For private, incognito, quiet and business trip holiday.🎉 Yeah, for $1500 start and then $500 roughly/month. It's OK, fair prices. I liked the lady asking for cash for deposits etc😂
