Good point about electricity. In the Philippines it is expensive, usually second only to Singapore in SE Asia. Depreciating peso = higher fuel costs. and this is passed on to consumers. Higher rates also affect others like telcos and ISPs that have to keep equipment cool.

Thanks for sharing, Jonathan. How are you filming the audio on the bike? It sounds great but no background noise :D

I think you could live on a low budget, just like you can travel like a backpacker and travel cheap. Personally I would not want to have a small budget and minimal lifestyle but some are ok with just hanging out. For me it’s necessary to be able to enjoy gym time, swimming, oceans, cycling and tennis. Plus of course traveling to nice resorts and island hopping. I guess it’s how you want to live and spend your time. I can’t imagine not having extra money to travel and enjoy other places either in the Philippines or around Asia?

Why are there no people in this video? Besides yourself and the agent that you talk to at each place, no people at any of the pools or walking around the hotel common areas. Looks nice, but I don’t know if I could live so far away from my children, who probably wouldn’t be able to visit there more than once every three to five years.

Excellent video. 🎉 For private, incognito, quiet and business trip holiday.🎉 Yeah, for $1500 start and then $500 roughly/month. It's OK, fair prices. I liked the lady asking for cash for deposits etc😂

What is public transit like there? Or do you need a license to drive those scooter bikes? I'm considering moving there. But it would be for about 6 months. So more of a long vacation. Also, what are some nicer beachy areas to look into? I'd love to find something right on the water. When I lived in fla, I had a beach house and waking up to the ocean every day was amazing
