I was hooked on your more organic puzzle than any river table I have seen in the past, and I was only about 1/4 through the video. Should you actually make a table similar to this piece, with the inlay metal supports, please consider making the metal edges meet at their vertical edges or miter the edges. The goal would be to minimize deep cuts to a toddler, dog, or small child as the play under the table. I am sure other parents are perfect, but as a grandparent, I love their laughter and detest crying. I would let them pull the pots and pans out of the lower cabinets, then let them hide inside the cabinet.
Great work. I hope you get picked up by the algorithm and your work is seen by more people.

There's the beautiful plum again. It goes really well with a wood from such different origin :) If you don't like this table on the wall maybe you could turn it into a head board for a bed. Or use the walnut for such a purpose? Really liked your stop motion with the good boy slice, too :)

Beautiful! I also loved how your “puzzle pieces” were self propelled,😆 your filming was entertaining too. The way you cut each piece to fit reminds me of stained glass. I’m retired now but, I created hundreds of stained glass windows by cutting up patterns, gluing them to the stained glass, then I cut the glass around each pattern piece. What do you think of applying that technique to create The Tree of Life as the center piece, using different wood species as you have done here and maybe even some bark? The wood grain in your piece is incredibly beautiful. Amazing work and craftsmanship!

These trunk slice tables you make are so unique and visually interesting. They're definitely wall-worthy, because I think guests would end up staring mesmerized by a table like this! I wonder, though, about the strength, because it looks like the pieces are just held together with whatever epoxy manages to trickle down into the cracks. The epoxy might not even be filling the cracks or making good contact with the wood. If you were to build a larger table in this style, do you think it would be necessary to put glue, dowels, or dominoes between the pieces before pouring the epoxy?
@marmotaworks

Thanks! If the wood is properly dry, there are no problem

I agree, the epoxy is so viscous that it penetrates everywhere. I wouldn't be worried about strength.
