I cried through this groom. These gorgeous sweet dogs do not need the owners they have. I have no idea of your regulations and laws surrounding animals. In Scotland the owners would be reported to our Scottish Society for the prevention of cruelty to Animals and if they think it's necessary they will remove dogs (cats, horse, hens, sheep, cows etc) for the abuse to the animal, the animal would be seen and treated by vets. I hope you have something like that in your country. You were definitely justified in your care and most definitely justified at telling the owners what you thought of their standard of care. Bless you both. I hope the dogs can be moved on to better owners. They are so full of bite marks and bruises..... Makes you wonder if the need blood transfusions because of the amount of blood taken in by the ticks, xxx

Those are not dog owners, they are Puppy Millers. They don’t care about the welfare of the dogs. They just want to breed as many puppies as possible, with no health concerns. That is why they were happy to have a girl dog-because they can make her a breeding dog too ASAP. They won’t care she is a puppy. This is like keeping a toddler girl at home so that the moment her first period comes, she will be having kids.

😢 When this happens here in Brazil, the NGOs contact the military police and together they rescue the dogs. Owners lose all rights over these and, in some cases, are fined or even arrested...

I'm on my 8th poodle. I've always groomed them myself. I found myself crying. My heart is breaking for those poor babies...the dogs should be removed and rehomed and the owners charged with neglect and cruelty.

Thank you for all you do to help these dogs! The owners need to be put in jail. I don’t know if there are any animal cruelty laws in Serbia, but they are backyard breeders running a puppy mill and neglecting dogs. They need to be put in jail!

These dogs are so patient with all of the tick extrations, fleas, haircuts, medicated shampoos, etc. ... and god only knows how a vet would give them medications, parvo virus, anti-tick-flea medications, skin diease medications ... all this should be part of the whole dog and breeding industry of this nation - if they are going to have such breeding operations - clean facilities, clean houses, clean walkways, etc.

Hello. I am a loving dog owner, here in canada we DO NOT tolerate neglect or animal abuse. Although we see it often. I think that if you have the opportunity to keep changing these animals lifes.. do it! Its a blessing to have someone care for dogs that are not even theirs. So No.. you cannot mind your own business. Tell them the cruel reality of their actions. People need MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU TWO, TO KNOCK SOME SENSE in these people heads. We live in a beautiful world, full of CRUEL people. 😢

Why do owners tell ridiculous lies? Did they honestly think she was stupid and would believe their lies? The owners should relinquish ownership of the three dogs. These animals deserve a caring and loving home.

The people who buy puppies from these breeders are also hugely responsible, if you saw dogs in these conditions and refused to buy the puppies the owners would have to improve their standards. An acquaintance told me about brewer's yeast tablets available at the Animal Feed Store. My German Shepherd was so full of ticks and losing weight - I was desperate. The tablets did the trick. VERY effective. And quick. The ticks just dried up and fell off. My pet gained weight and looked and felt great again.

You made a good decision. Unfortunatly you will not be able to change the owners mind on taking better care of the dogs. That $200 should be enough to buy flea and tick prevenative for the three dogs for a year. Great video, keep up the good work.

The owners are awful people. But! You are the only friends the dogs had/ have. You should have taken them to the vet, and finished the grooming.

You as I always say are an angel your husband is amazing also and you do so much for these poor dogs, but it breaks my heart that they’re in this in the first place dogs and children do not have any control over their life and it’s horrible when I see this😢

We rescued our Texas heeler 3 years ago from a horrible situation. She was skinny and abused. I have no issue telling off people that abuse any animal and won’t hesitate to call the authorities when needed

You did the right thing by cussing them. I would have called the police or not given them back at all. It's still a crime to abuse animals.

I too am so sad to see these lovely dogs! Here in Australia it is very scary to see so many ticks! Where I live we have the paralysis tick and only One tick can kill a dog! We have many medications to keep the dogs free of ticks.

You are so WONDERFUL🥰. I live in Sweden and here they had been reported to the police and the dogs had been taken care of by special animal shelters and later relocated to people who REALLY want a "friend for life". The HORRIBLE people who have these dogs would be sent LOOONG OUT in a BIG Forest, completely naked and forced to roll themselves a nest with ticks. Then leave them there to get home the best they can😤😡. KEEP up your great job🙏🏼🥰

You were100% correct in laying those owners low! Their horrible!!

Their living conditions are appalling. I'm glad you were rude to them and told them what you thought. Those dogs are being terribly neglected and ill-treated, just so they can make money for the owners. I live in the United States and those dogs would be seized here for that kind of treatment and the owners would be charged with animal cruelty.

I wouldn’t given the dogs back to them . In the US it is against the what those people are doing . They would be reported and all of their animals would be taken away from them . They are very cruel selfish people ,and something should be done to stop them . I am glad you yelled at those people . Unfortunately people like that don’t care they are just out for themselves .

It's not your fault you can't help but not finsh there grooming because of the amount of ticks plus they could be carrying diseases and could make you or other furbabies that come in or around.....😢😢 it's a shame that people only look at dogs as cash makers

I commend you and bless you for your effort. I don't know if Serbia has an welfare system but, those dogs should NOT have been returned to their owners. The owners should have been fined or imprisoned for cruelty. That's what gets done here in United States.

This is the worst case of ticks i have ever seen you were right in bitching them out. Maybe tell them if they take care of the ticks on smaller dog you will groom him too. I know you are the professional here so i will tell you just a way that i have removed that is quicker than the tick remover and that is with tweezers. I'm glad you read them the riot act for the treatment of the dogs.. wish there was a way to report the owners w/out ill will falling on you guys!! I think I would have been afraid as well for your health and safety, but just from what you said, they could have retaliated on you had you reported them, so you are blameless!! .. I think the vet can do that as well, if it's a good vet, that's assuming those owners really do take the pups to the vet.. I'm doubtful they would though.. I'm not sure what the laws are in Serbia, but here..in the US.. I think the vets here are legally compelled to report on such neglect and abuse.. I will for sure be going to your website! I'd have to wear a suit to cover up completely. Those ticks run so fast. I used to take my dog out every day in the forests with deer, so she always carried ticks back into the house. Well the ticks did not stay on her because she had the anti-tick tablets, but they always crawled on me. I don't know how groomers can be so close to the dogs and ticks, without wearing a cover-all suit. The tick bites can make humans very sick.

If they sell puppies that have ticks, it’s a Public Health Safety issue. Some activism may be needed to put laws against animal cruelty.

You can say 'we have taken' instead (where 'taken' is the 'past participle') and this is the 'present perfect tense' where you are saying that you have done something in the past but it relates to the present moment. The easiest thing to do is use the simple past tense and just say 'we took the......'.

I would have told them more. I would have told them to spend the money I give them to treat their dogs for parasites. I would have told them that if they didn’t start taking care of their dogs properly and get the parasites under control, I would publicize who they are and that their dogs are covered with parasites and they will NEVER be able to sell any puppies. I would make sure of it.
