here I am back again with more tractor info! lol. The first tractor you came across was a 1951 Fordson E1A major which was the first year of production for these tractors which were built until 1964. the engine that you then find is the same as in the fordson major and it may well have been a generator as ford sold these engines for industrial use too. the cement mixer I believe is made by farm machinery manufacturer Teagle and so is the old fertilizer spreader behind it that you caught a glimpse of. The second fordson you came across was a Fordson 'Standard' N, it looks to me like a wartime was as it doesn't have full sized mudguards to save on metal unless they've just rotted away. the red machine next to it was a Massey Harris square baler of a similar age to the N. the third and final tractor out in the field was another Fordson major but this one looks like a newer model than the first, the spikes on the left hand wheel were for ploughing in bad conditions to give extra grip.

@11.16, not all Commer PA's/PB's/Spacevans were not all campers, most left are campers as they have survived better as they were looked after better being in private use & not commercial use, these type Commers had the handbrake on the front wheels!

Yes & to think the Post Office, GPO & in the 80s BT bought huge fleets of both Commer & Dodge models, they were well maintained but once in private hands they were run into the ground, such a shame only a few survive .

The Morris van (Leyland) is an FG it had the nickname of the thruppenny bit because of the shape of the cab. By the looks of the colour, it belonged to Lyons bakery. The one in front of it is, as you said, a Commer with Luton box body.

I used to drive one of those BMC vans for a bakery in the mid 60s. The doors opened in the opposite direction to a normal vehicle and I used to keep them both open in the summer while driving because of the heat from the integral engine. They were very noisy as well and the gears were a crash box and no power steering but for all that I loved driving it.

That caravan is proper 1950s/very early 60s I think! All those pastels and weird curtains and that. The house looks like someone built it themselves, all from reused materials, like that walk-in freezer door as a front door and the 1920s/30s steel windows.

That specific model was the Blaw-Knox Pathmaster, introduced in the late '70s. Amusingly, the movie "Aliens" actually used a couple of them as "futuristic" background vehicles at the outpost.

Some very interesting finds there. This is a real time capsule. It’s such a shame that these old vehicles are just left to rot away. The blue van definitely looks like an old Commer. That one and the Austin Morris FG truck behind it are real rarities and are definitely worth saving before it’s too late. I loved this explore. Keep them coming.

Amazing find! I’d love to save all of those cars. There were two in particular that caught my eye, the dark green Chrysler Alpine (CPC) and the light green Talbot Alpine at 33:05 (GOH) - that one was almost identical to my dad’s old one and that was only on the road for the same time too. C15 Van been off the road since mid-1993. Looked in great condition in all fairness.

The green car at 33:50 is a Chrysler Alpine. There are only 20 of these known left on UK roads. They were noted infamously for rusting rapidly, hence low survival rate. From what I could see this one doesn't look to be in bad shape, though need to clear all the foliage from it to be sure. If it reveals that it is still savable it'll bring the number of survivors to 21. Renault 12 shortly before that last used up to winter 1987. My Dad used to own one of those.

The green car at 33:46 is a 1979 Chrysler Alpine Sunseeker special edition. None others are known to exist so this could be the remains of the only one left. Bronze tinted glass , sliding steel sunroof, green coloured bumpers , alloy wheels, blacked out brightwork and lower striping decal kit were the defining features. The factory colour of this example is appropriately called 'Moss Green'.

The leyland vans were used by sunblest bread, I think the Royal Mail had a similar smaller design. Showing I was a 70’s child lol, i think it is beautiful that the place has not been damaged by someone. And a thought as I watch on, saying the building might be a container, looking at the door handle, maybe it was a cold fridge container from a lorry, it might make sense with everything else going on there. The washing machines are known twin tubs. And the L reg daf would be 1971/1972. You probably know that years ago there was 1 reg a year, M reg was 1973 so it could give you a guide for future reference.
