I thought about the reason why often and I guess I found it; I respect the machine itself and think that box doesn't deserve being in a mess. Because these machines are the product of bunch of hard working genius engineers. Second reason is to know its best performance by making it all clean. oh you are right, I didn't even use the sewing machine oil in this video 😅 The blue padding is ARCTIC TP-3: Premium Performance Thermal Pad, 100 x 100 x 1,5 mm. To be honest, I finally don't think 1.5mm is the best format for the PS4 Slim. I would use smaller next time. Thanks for your comment @l30sosa , glad to know you enjoyed watching this video ❤️

That's something I often think about. Should I take time to make slow and smooth movements, or should I put more energy and make fast movements. I tested both, and looks like slower videos are working better. But I still have to improve that aspects of the videos for sure. What cleaning solution did you use for the top & bottom cover? My ps4 slims top cover is fillied whith scratched & dirt inside those scratches. Might be important to note that im not the first owner of the ps4. It was from a friend, we made a trade but the ps4 came real dirty. Anyways i wanna start with the top cover more than anything. I dont like nasty all that didrt makesbit look

Oh, I believe it. I deep clean consoles at work all the time and have seen some nasty ones. Worst ones are cockroach infestations and ones where someone's pet used it as a toilet and it went unnoticed.

I got a used one that looked like that I've never scared so much dust in my life.

I remember opening my original ps4 for the first time, it was so bad. Recently had to change thermal paste on it last year due to having it since near release. The thermal paste was dried up

Désolé, je ne regardais plus trop les commentaires ces derniers jours. J'étais focus sur le fait de sortir le prochaine vidéo. et mon travail principal aussi 😅 Je pense que je n'attendrais pas 4 mois pour sortir la prochaine si c'est ta question. Par contre, je ne pense pas reprendre un rythme à 1 video toutes les deux semaines comme ça a été le cas pendant 1 an

Makeup brushes work better and last longer. At least here in the States that is. The paint brushes just end up fraying, curling up and they get like split ends. I took one of my daughters makeup brushes and I have used the same brush kit of about a year now. You really should give it a try my friend.

This is giving me Vietnam style flashbacks of me trying to deep clean my sisters PS5 last weekend…I can’t entirely blame her though given how her useless hubby didn’t help whatso ever dust or clean and dust just kept accumulating, luckily she’s seperated from him now and the poor console is back to full squeaky clean status lol

Outclass!! What a talent you have! It was worth watching and definitely learning all over. Just wish if you could show the cleaning process of heat sync area which was quite messed up.. anyway tremendously done...

Well, I would say that depends on the exact version of your PS4. With some, It is easier to clean the fan and the heatsink without take apart the heatsink and so have an access to the processor thermal paste. clean the dust is already a very good thing, but of course change the TP is better. If you can't clean properly the heatsink without take it appart, I would definitely recommend to change the thermal paste. Even if it is a cheap one. Thanks for your comment @rukiii444 ❤️

I guess you are talking about the thermal pads here 14:32 ? it is "ARCTIC TP-3: Premium Performance Thermal Pad, 100 x 100 x 1,5 mm" but next time I would use smaller one. Like 1mm. Thanks for your comment @edgarjaureguicalderon7434 , glad to know you enjoyed watching this video ❤️❤️

I am using Thermal Paste here. It is was we use on the processors. I don't think we can use something else unfortunately ... so you will have to order some. But you can find it for a fair price. Thanks for your comment @marcochavez2935 I hope that you enjoyed watching this video ❤️

My friend your video is really great. I wanted also to clean my ps4 but not completely as you did. I followed until you disconnected the black part with the whit tiny cable. So i assembled everything as it was, and now my ps4 won't turn at all. When i plug it in, i see no light at the power button no matter how long i press. It checked everything three times and no sings. Did i ruined it maybe because i opened it while it was still warm from using?

Pas de soucis t'inquiète le travail avant tout. Ah d'accord ok pas de soucis je saurais etre patient pour tes prochaines vidéos 😉. eheheh, je pensais avoir le temps d'upload la dernière vidéo, celle que j'ai publié hier soir, mais je n'avais pas eu le temps. Du coup on avait regardé celle-ci avec la PS4 en effet. C'était très cool ce live. Un exercice un peu stressant quand c'est la première fois, mais Cabri et le chat m'ont vraiment mis à l'aise ❤️❤️
