Да и ьанку оно не сверлило, а продавливало. Нет превышения режущей кромки над тыльной.
Это работает но не долго. Диск надо сменить на другое, ибо вулканит в диске не точит металл,а жгет его трением. Снизить обороты, подавать воду . Иначе откаливается кромка сверла, на долго такое не хаатает.

Так он же точит не на диске, а на приклеенной наждачке. Не понятно только зачем использован диск

at the start of the video you can tell you are resting the drill bit on the bottom of the can with no force applied and after you have socalled sharpened the drill bit you can see how much force you are applying because the bottom of the can is getting pushed in even a blunt drill bit will put a hole in the bottom off a can wit force DO A REAL VIDEO AND DRILL THROGH A PIECE OF ONE INCH STEEL PLATE WITH YOU SOCALLED SHARPENED DRILL BIT

Меня тоже бесят когда пилят на себя а не от себя как положено. Все искры летят на на себя а если диск разлетится? То будет поздно.
А пивную банку слабо?
Зачем делать какие то приспособы? Да в чем проблема заточить сверло на наждаке? Я всегда точу без всяких упоров и сверло сверлить отлично не консервную банку, а толстое железо.

Аналогично, когда то токарь показал как правильно нужно точить, после 3,4 заточки стало получаться с 1 раза точить, поправлять как и сломанные. Сейчас уже не глядя, палец цепляет значит норм.
Крепить уголок на один винт, да ещё с потай головкой,это преступно. Одно неловкое движение и будет темно навсегда.

Over the last 35 years working in the NHS I've seen numerous serious accidents and one fatality caused by using an angle grinder without a disc guard. Removing the guard must be one of the most dangerous and incredibly stupid modifications possible.

Что бы правильно заточить сверло, одной плоскости даже под 60 градусов не достаточно. Не пудри людям мозги.

У меня родственник пошёл помочь на отрезном самодельном, вроде, станке что то отрезать... Был в защитной маске, круг разлетелся, маску пробило, разрубили щëку, выбило зубы, пробило череп, где бровь... Был доставлен в стационар, спасли, хотя везти было далеко... Глаз один плохо видит. Сейчас уж старенький, но это другая тема... Так что соблюдайте, пожалуйста, Тб. Всех благ.

Хватит пороть х--ю, всю свою жизнь, (мне 78) подходил к точилу и затачивал сверло без всяких приспособлений на глаз. Нормально сверлило.

Трудно с тобой не согласиться. Я точно также точил всегда. Правда это не совсем заводская заточка. Но и заточка "знатоков" не лучше. Единственный недостаток точил, что у них высокие обороты. Сейчас китайцы снабдили точилками с регулятором оборотов так, что точить можно почти не боясь пережечь.

В начале не давит, потом давит. Сверло было острое, он его только испортил

your method makes the edge of the drill bit flat and 90 degrees to the the bit shank. it does not sharpen the drill and the bit will not cut through heavy steel with no angle on its face. totally improper.
Мне, профессиональному слесарю, противно смотреть на всякие глупости. Сверла затачивают на обычном наждаке за 5 - 10 секунд.
