You Will NEVER Hit Driver Well If You Don’t Do This

Спорт

Please start doing this and you will notice major changes in the distance that you hit your driver but more importantly the consistency of the contact with the golf ball. Recently I discovered how well this drill worked in a lesson with one of my students Kev, this was in a driver lesson and Kev made so much progress that I wanted to share with you what we did, the drill set up in step by step and how to apply this out on the golf course so you can follow and get the same results, which is hit your driver longer, square the club face and make good contact with the golf ball.
Kev was not making contact with the golf ball and hitting the ball with driver with far too much power, this was all unintentional but he was over powering the driver causing poor strike. In this simple golf tip I will share this simple drill, get you hitting the golf ball longer but lesson power, get you to increase your speed and consistency
Let me know in the comments what you think of this drill.

Alex - great video and excellent "drill-sation" through the driver swing. As I am just getting back into golf after 15 yrs and suffering from back & joint issues, I am rediscovering / recreating a workable golf swing. Your instruction and drills have helped me immensely - especially for what used to be my biggest weakness, the driver. Many thanks for all you do!!

What is this? I’ve put this to the test young man and I can only suggest a future in giving golf advice. I’ve just tried this and hit 5, back to back right off the sweet spot. It’s the basis that makes the difference eh. Bravo Alex.

Great video mate!.100% with this drill, when I use to struggle with driver, my father in-law told me this, to try and feel like you are throwing the club out to the right

Love the videos. They have helped me look at how I approach the game a little differently. My question is…..what are the first stills you’d have a new golfer go thru? Im trying to introduce my kids who are 11 and 15.

best drill is feet together then point both feet out 45 degrees(so heels still touching, feet at 10 to 2) and play three quarter shots with a short ish iron....teaches them to keep their balance and to do that they'll have to swing smoothly

Hi Alex, love the content. Should I be compressing my wedges? I’ve recently learnt how to compress my irons and I’m worried with wedges it’s making the ball travel to far and will mess up my ability to make the ball stop on a green as I lower dynamic loft

I was wondering if you ever faced a student who is left handed but plays right? I believe a lot of swing issues are a result of a strong left arm. For example I saw a video from Danny Maude who teaches that you say the right arm should feel I saw like you are flinging/skipping rocksThrowing with my right hand feels awkward. Shifting weight is also not natural for me when I swing as the natural way of shifting weight is leading with the right foot. Anyway if you haves tips on lefties playing right I would love to see that. weight is also not natural for me when I swing as the natural way of shifting weight is leading with the right foot. @@AlexElliottGolf It’s sensationalist, disingenuous and while it doesn’t adhere strictly to the definition of clickbait, it most certainly is intended to manipulate people into watching the video under false pretences, just for clicks. Your content is good however rather than you using that content to speak for itself I find it disappointing that you overwork these clickbaity titles.

Completely disagree Alex. With due respect. I play off 9 and have played since I was 7. You must look at the damned ball. One reason you will be distracted by looking anywhere else. Absolutely 1 million per cent. Although the swing is one complete movement and you can't really isolate individual parts, the most important part of the swing - for me anyway - is that last 3 feet before you make connection and your eyes have GOT to be looking at the ball. And the advice you give does not factor in eyesight issues for golfers not just seniors but all ages. Tom Kite the American who played in many Ryder Cups and captained the USA at least once, was partially blind. Clearly you are a highly regarded golfer and you do put out educational videos but this takes the biscuit. Do not look at the ball folks and you will have more mishit shots off the tee. Probably click baiting factor in play here.
