@@kosmas173 you should change your profile picture since you don't know what you are talking about, Revelations has some of the best and most impactful moments in the franchise, Altair final moments, Ezio finding out he is just a conduct for a message sent through the Centuries, Subject 16 saving Desmond from the Animus when everyone thought he would betray him, and lots and lots of epic moments, yes, it was more of the same since AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations are quite similar, gameplay and graphics wise, but the story is amazing, and that's why you don't know what you are talking about.

Another Fun Fact : AC Brotherhood was supposed to be a cash grab, it was given an extremely low budget of 9 Million and 9 Months for development, Ubisoft wanted quick money through the release of brotherhood so players would flock over from AC2 while Ubisoft themselves had no intention of keeping them happy. The devs over at Ubi Montreal however loved this franchise and community more than the Parent Company back in France and so they gave it their all and now we have the Ezio trilogy to define the spirit of AC at it's core.

@@AhmadWahelsa Well the three people who can actually carry this franchise are Darby Mcdevit as Writer(Worked on 1,2,BH, Revelations and 3, he was brought back for Valhalla but was fired due to disagreements early on in development), Jesper Kyd as Composer ( He wrote Ezio's Family and composed The AC2 and Brotherhood OST) and Ashraf Ismail as Director (Revelations and Origins). The team at Ubi Montreal clashed alot with Ubisoft France so working conditions were apparently crap so while the rest of the team did work on AC Unity and Valhalla they didn't have the same directors and writers and now we have whatever Valhalla and Odyssey are.

To be honest, that makes sense. I think the combat was absolutely butchered and it had a lot of clashing and conflicting game design that didn’t know what it wanted. It wasn’t very cohesive or sewn together very well. AC already had some balance issues, but Brotherhood has some of the worst balance issues I’ve ever seen in a game. The MP was great though. I overall enjoy the game, but it really be much better. It carries itself on concepts more than actual well designed gameplay.

Revelations barely had any side-quests and the chapters were over pretty quickly. Each faction (mercenaries, courtisans, thiefs) offered so many missions in Brotherhood and you could do quests about Templar Agents, the Followers of Romulus and the main quests were quite tricky. Revelations offered exactly one quest per faction and the main quests were over pretty quickly and sometimes so easy and insultingly dull. Ohhh, you have to tail a flower merchant to collect tullips. AC2 ending Minerva speaking directly into the screen was so trippy! “What?..who is Desmond?” That was mad! Can anyone from Ubisoft tell us what they were doing with the future story in AC? That story was so weird *Minerva

They also released a DS tie-in game for AC2 called AC2: Discovery, that covers the 3 (?) years missing in the main game, when Ezio was in Spain. It’s a game that nobody played or remembers but it still annoys me that it wasn’t included in the otherwise perfect Ezio Collection.

I thought they overcomplicated the bombs system but otherwise I think it was a good one. It's interesting to see the transition from the brash somewhat careless youngster into the weary but driven assassin. And how this game had a darker vibe reflected by the Animus screen, tragic but potent theme, and the ghost grey travelling cloak and eagle vision.

People keep forgetting about the character development that Ezio had, from an angry guy thirsty for revenge,to a wise mentor that can still get angry if provoked to much. I think Ezio and Altair are kinda similar in this aspect, except Altair was younger when he became the mentor/master assassin.

Lost Legacy is also what would become the name for the games DLC content, in which the player delves into the raw animus memories of subject 16, clay kazmarek, in a similar way as that of Desmond’s on the main game’s animus island. If they originally intended to make a whole main game of something like this, it could mean that they were planning on having him as the main or secondary protagonist, where we would be able to see and experience his still somewhat mysterious story in much greater detail.
