Pushing 50 years As you hear old people saying - where DID those years go ? ? They turned into memories , bloody good ones !
This footage was taped at the Kilburn Theatre in London on December 23rd, 1974. It was then aired on The Midnight Special in April 1975. The Faces played their last show on November 1st, 1975.

They played that last show in Montreal and it was one of the best shows I was ever at. I will never forget the Montreal Symphony Orchestra rising up from the back of the stage when they played Angel. That memory has lasted my lifetime.
Sure wish I could have attended this show. I'm 69 and been a fan of Rod's since the 70s and I still am.❤❤❤❤😊
A stage presence that has no equal: the only one ❤ Thank you Rod

I love Rod the Mod too! 💗 he’s always twirling the mic stand like a champ!
Ronnie Wood had a awesome guitar tone that really led the whole sound that the FACES created, such a great band.
Classic! I'm one of Rod's most devoted fans, for over 50 years. April '75 ... one of their last performances, as Rod Stewart & The Faces, before Woody joined the Rolling Stones just 2 months later.

Saw Rod Stewart several times myself back in the 70s. What a show, he would throw the mic up and put on a show, got our money's worth for about 7.50 or 8.50. 😅😅now it was 1200. To see the Eagles

Our beautiful Young Sir Rod❤❤❤ And the gentleman 🎉🎉🎉Thank you very much Philadelphia USA 🇺🇸 Nostrovia ❤
My mom saw him in concert and at one point he stopped after dancing and just said, "I ripped me pants." I'm dead serious.
Ron and Rod should have never left the Faces.

Rod had a great run as one of the top disco boys in the late 70s. Ron has now spent almost 50 years as the lead guitarist for the worlds greatest rock and roll band - you don't turn down an opportunity like that.

It's what they both wanted to do, they each did well by their decision, couple reunions here and there, wtf do you want? Nothing lasts forever man.
Maggie May was one of my favorite songs 🎶🎼 Love the satin bell bottoms!!
They both went on to become legends Rod with his solo career and Ronnie with the Stones so no regrets in fact they made the unplugged together years later so they are all buddies Jerry from Mexico City
❤❤ wow, how fun was THAT!
I ❤️adore❤ how Rod pulls Ronnie up to the front. Then, Rod thinks his part is over and tries to walk off stage and someone tells him to go back out 😅😅 ahhhh, the 70s were amazing 😅😅

Me too. It's really touching. This was the end of Faces, Rod was going solo, and Ronnie was joining the Stones. There's a genuine affection between the two, and it shows, and it seems so strange today when every gesture is calculated and choreographed to elicit a certain response from an audience of people who aren't really there, watching through their screens and thinking how to post it, what to edit, what to text, what the dummies will think of the post, and what they'll text, and a witty group response with a screenshot or some other stupid thing.... I mean the 80's were great, the 90's.... social media has screwed everyone up.
Ever hear faces come up when discussing the goats of rock? They should always be in it.😊

Still better than anything fifty years on. Love you, Rod!!! 💖
Gotta love this! Rod's voice has always been a favorite of mine.
Rod is one of those disrinctive voices in rock. I've always liked him. Ron is awesome, too. Always loved his hair. Strange to see a performance outside the studio. 😎🔥💜

Damn, I got a drip just watching this.
I'd like to ask you, do you wear it well? Who made the costumes? 🎉Did you know someone who sewed all those different costumes for all the band or did you make it? I have to say one thing though. Rod, you are an excellent dancer🎉. You are a Fred Astaire. You got that rhythm in your body because of the music🎶🕊️. It runs right through you and you had some great moves.❤ I love all 💖💖💖these vintage tapes, don't you? I love this song but I love you costume better. Let me watch the rest of it

Rods having a wardrobe malfunction lol
Sadly the writing was on the wall Tetsu was a great bassist but the spark between him and Ronnie wasn’t there like it was between Ronnie Lane and Ron Wood and once Rod met Britt he changed I wish they’d carried on a bit longer but like many bands they came they gave us 4 or 5 years and it had to end better they stopped while they were still great than limped on into the 80’s like Quo who just lost everything they were by the end of the decade
