Everyone is expendable. Some folks get paid for it.
Translate "test pilot" into English, it means "expendable"... In Doolittle's book, he recounts and event in Dayton where they hand a parachute and a Curtis Hawk to a guy and say "try to remember how fast you are going when it comes apart."

I have such a deep Air Force heritage through the family I was blessed to be adopted with and to be able to even try at as a path pilot or engineer is such a blessing. Watching this video was exciting and the current thoughts while watching this was "Where are these pilots now?" Cannot wait to start studying myself into such a career is quite exciting. Future Aerospace engineer here! Thank god for this opportunity.

at 4.18 it looks like a king air aircraft to me .but them f16 pilots fast jet pilots must of . been flying c172 aircraft 1st .any way . what i am saying is they did not start out flying f16 or f15 aircraft .did they from day one

I want to become a military pilot in the Air Force but the Iraqi Air Force only accepts males and I am a girl Can I apply to the U.S. Air Force and how is that? Please answer

Go to Jordan, or UAE. They’ve been taking females lately. If you aren’t a citizen of the US, you cannot apply due to security issues.
I'm interested in the test pilot school but have zero interest in becoming one myself 😂
Is it US only, or is it also open for NATO members?

Foreign pilots / engineers are allowed. Look up AF 99-107 it outlines all the requirements.

You can attend some as a civilian. Not the AF one. But you’d probably have to be the cream of the crop in the AF. To go as a civilian I’m guessing you need a lot of ratings and hours.

Minimum is an engineering/mathematics/physics degree and about 1000hrs in a military aircraft.
