Some nerd: Jump around as soon as he lands, Picks up some trash, bashes it against the walls, flies over the world, places trash near a tank, when his trash suddenly starts floating near the tank for some reason, flies into the house to get beaten up, gets into an airboat, launches it across the world, ignores multiple CP forces shooting at him. Everyone that has an HEV suit has to go through the Hazardous Environment Training Course (the training room tutorial of the game) and at the end there's a target practice where they instruct you on how to use every human weapon in the game. I'm not the only one that played through that? Right?

I mean, I think infographics didnt hear about how the combine forces stationed on earth are pretty much just used to quell small rebellions and keep people oppressed. Metro cops are wearing quite light armor, being used primarily like a police force. The Metro-cop compared to a combine soldier or elite soldier is the same comparison between say a real world cop and a fully kitted and armored soldier. And on the point of the resistance's armor, Dog is likely about as resilient as a strider is, but he is far more maneuverable, the combine's heavy weaponry is quite bulky, and so are the things carrying it. The actual resistance members have little to no armor and are often killed, while Gordon is in a suit that can immediately administer medical treatment, cures to toxins, radiation shielding, and can use some sort of techno wizardry to reduce the impact of bullets. Additionally, Xen was known as a dangerous location and it would not actually be surpising for Gordon to have recieved a live fire training during his Hazardous Evironment course.

Gman isn't a "guardian angle" he is merely an employer for his employers. He only "saves" Gordon when he finishes a job. His HEV suit is from Black Mesa and is an upgraded version from the one he had on in the Black Mesa incident.

Well, it is true HL2's plot armor is different since it is canon in the form of the G-Man (HL: A reveals he can change timeline events to suit him, which explains Gordon being able to use every weapon in existence and things like Alyx saving him, Father Grigori giving him a shotty, etc.)

He always complaints about the storylines. Half life has one of the best narrating experience in video games. Humans do have a better armour because it was made by super advanced scientists and human creativity, which the combine lack. Ever wondered why military has worse tech than scientists? No, right! @@randomuser1113 pcv being comparable to hev is a completely different thing, pcv was exclusive to only HECU Marine corps, most of which were wiped out during the black mesa incident. The combine is much advanced, all right, but after Gordon came from raiding nova prospect, he became a mythical legend among the rebels, boosting their morale. Mind you, the overwatch combine forces are merely a shell of total combine troops, they are just a garrison over earth.

Imagine that you were going to fight Gordon, but you then see him entering the command "notarget" and then you just walk away.

One thing is that Eli did build him but Alyx was constantly upgrading him something most people over look. Also you can find health in like every create and Vorts can heal and take Gordan away from dangerous situations if they really want to. No one appreciates the Vortigaunts... they are like the nicest and most useful ally now. Lastly I agree with the pipe thing. The Crowbar is synonymous with Half-Life. That is like saying Master Chief is from Doom.

Actually, CP's are un-modified and only combine soldiers get memory erased

I might wanna tell you, in lore, the CP do have a choice by the rank "03" to be memory wiped. Causing them to be promoted more than 03, because 03 is the max rank a CP member can get before they have to be memory wiped to be promoted.

I could see why some of the boys took him for snobby. He had a quiet way about him, a walk and a talk that just wasn't normal around here. He strolled, like a man in a park without a care or a worry in the world, like he had on an invisible coat that would shield him from this place. Yeah, I think it would be fair to say...I liked Gordon Freeman from the start.

I like how a lot of things about the combine is wrong.

Unless I have a clear line of sight and a BFG, the answer is no.

this is very unrealistic as gordon isn't bhopping backwards faster than the speed of sound. in this video he is just walking

Forgot to mention that as soon as you join the transhuman forces, you lose all your memories and you’re horribly disfigured beyond recognition to facilitate implants.

g-man isn't his guardian angel/mysterious stranger, for all we know he sees humanity as tools and novelties

@@softan Well Humans seem more like toys he can collect and he say's he has EMPLOYERS, but they aren't affecting the story like G-Man is. G-Man has a presence and he wants you to know he is always watching and like a kid playing a game with his toys he wants things to go his way. Once Gordan was broke free from his control my the Vorts G-Man was angry because his toy was taken away from him. He even keeps Adrien Shepard as a collectors item. A toy that will never be taken out of the box again.
