That's a bit Pigeonholing, when talking about the most brilliantly diverse band of all time.Their best tracks, were nothing to do with love, except Perhaps: I want you (she's so heavy) and oh, darlin! Something and don't let me down. I'm thinking of tomorrow never knows, a day in the life, across the universe, revolution, strawberry fields, get back,Norwegian Wood, Old brown shoe, Yer blues, Blackbird or Within you, without you,Nowhere man, Lucy in the sky, Fool on the hill, Try to see it my way , et cetera

Man have I always loved this song, Johns voice at it's best in the original .

One genius genuinely idolizing another, aka "From Me To You".

Almost six decades have elapsed since I first watched the Beatles playing this beautiful song at the cinema theater in the movie "Help!"

Love this... nice job Brian! I will never forget the first time I heard this song.. watching the movie help... John Lennon sitting in that sunken living room. Sometimes when I'm sitting around playing my guitar and I'm playing songs that are 50+ years old I think to myself what the hell am I doing... but then I remember it's because I love the music so much... and I am glad to see I am in good company !!

It's always good, if a real legend has a respect for the other successful and legendary musicians. It's a humility and not every big star is capable of. Of course, not just Brian May, or Queen are the legends, but I'm sure that a certain people won't agree with me.

I think the Beatles are a level that most artists are quite happy to be deferential to, and I was seen as superior, rather than a rival. Even Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Phil Collins, they all say The Beatles are the most influential and are unreachable in the diversity, quality and consistent Brilliance of the catalogue from track to track. Dave Gilmour said Paraphrased something similar recently

@Ralph No doubt, The Beatles are the big band, even about fifty years after their last performance. That's what they deserve. A huge respect and humility from others. That's exactly what Brian May did. Even being a legend himself, as Freddie Mercury had a respect for a lot of musicians. Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley, Montserrat Caballé, and many others. Like Beethoven to Mozart. Two of the best classical music composers in history, had respect for each other. The Beatles, Queen, and a few more will be once the same league, as Mozart is. Over 230 years dead, and the cultural people from around the world know him. They will be the same. Elvis Presley is about 46 years dead and still is a big star, even now. That's exactly what the real fame looks like. Almost everyone knows you, even if they are not exactly your fans, while you are not a few decades around...
