😢😢i remember putting that toy story vhs tape in and sat in front of the tv and just glued my eyes on that tv all happy and joyful. i miss being a kid
This song is easily as difficult to play as Flight of the Bumblebee ... but for a different reason. It's virtually impossible to get through a performance of "You've Got a Friend in Me" without sobbing, which can throw off your rhythm.
You've Got A Friend In Me" ("Toy Story" soundtrack) You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me When the road looks rough ahead And you're miles and miles From your nice warm bed You just remember what your old pal said Boy, you've got a friend in me Yeah, you've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me You've got troubles, I've got 'em too There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you We stick together and we see it through Cause you've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me Some other folks might be A little bit smarter than I am Bigger and stronger too Maybe But none of them will ever love you The way I do It's me and you, boy And as the years go by Our friendship will never die You're gonna see it's our destiny You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me You've got a friend in me

I swear the beginning of this song makes me tear up at how pure joy and happiness it gives off
He has no idea how important this song is to my childhood.
What an icon his voice just gives me chills
I’m sure everyone gets goosebumps when hearing this masterpiece
This is the most calm body movements I've seen in Chris Thile. As soon as I heard the mandolin I knew it was him who was playing.
Love this song and Randy's voice! I rescued a Senegal Parrot a couple months ago and we've both been gaining trust in each other. This morning he walked across the chairs and onto my lap wanting constant head pets for about 1/2 hour. Realizing that we have both made a special life-long friend, I looked up this song and played it to him. We both listened as he sat on my lap getting his head rubbed. I'm not sure who is happier! This song was the icing on the cake! God Bless!
I’m not crying, you are.
I have to fight off tears listening to this
1:00 that head nod of approval was everything, considering that this is his song to have somebody feel like you nailed that shit perfectly is a hell of a feelin
Ok but can we take a second to appreciate Chris Thile, I like the way he sang it. It was cartoon-ish if that makes any sense at all? But it was perfect
From the first notes, his music is always instantly recognizable. The shuffle-swing, the wry humor..what a delight!!

I have Woody here since I am a kid, I am 30 now, still have Woody here and it says Andy under his boot, its the original and my name is Andy. I dont know if I can say that because people might call an ambulance and the people with white clothes will come and pick me up... but last night some lazer went into the window of my room and something shouted from the outside "Woody, can you hear me." ..and somehow, Woody was not at the same place where I left him before I went to bed. - I was afraid to check it out, but thats why I came here to listen to the song.
