Just remove the fan front and blade....clean and put it back together. I'd be afraid of electrocution 👀
Can of compressed air, it's all over and done with in 2-3mins. Wipe down with Lysol wipes, looks brand new! 😉
What a convoluted approach! Every fan I have had with a wire cage had a 2-piece wire cage. Easily disconnect & remove the front half of the wire cage _with_ _the_ _fan_ _UNplugged_ - - then wipe all the blades _and_ both haves of the cage with a damp, soapy cloth. Reconnect the front of the cage to the back of the cage. A 3-minute job.
Excellent idea for ppl wishing to clean fan in this manner. 😊
The fan wasn't as dirty when you sprayed and put the bag on it as it was in the beginning ..False info. alert!!!!😡😡😡

Put the whole thing in the shower and spray it clean. Allow to dry for a day before plugging it in to use.
