Every dungeons and dragons player has a different method for creating their backstories and I love them all!

Me: *writes intentionally vauge backstories for my elf rangers* "what village is he from?" "Oh, i cant remember, took to wandering since i turned 100"

i once created a plant mage for an online campaign and part of my character sheet had a youtube link of an example of her doing a major spell. describing she's the main singer. and the backup singers are dryads coming to her summons and adding power to the spell if more than 5 showed up the spell would have enough power to take out a large town. and i ofc had to roll for effectiveness edit: was going to link the song.. forgot lol kzread.info/dash/bejne/l22uqsibnZTHm7A.htmlsi=SI_4qMb3CBK59HO4 and yes the video were the inspiration for the spell. DM forced me to make it a top level spell. and she'd use up all her mana if she unleashed it
