I still remember watching this move when it was first show to me when I was I think 4 or 5 maybe older but young. This scene hit me hard when the iron giant had to sacrifice his life to save lots of live. This right here is why old animation moves will never be matched by new movies. I watched this several times as a kid and I still love it.

This is one of the movies that will make me cry no matter how old i get, the utter humanity that the animators were able to put into this single scene moves moves me every time

This movie was made as a memorial to director Brad Bird’s sister, Susan Bird. Who tragically died from her husband due to gun violence. The pitch for this movie was, “What if a gun had a soul,and didn’t want to be a gun?”

The iron giant has to be one of my most favourite movies. That moment is so precious and emotional. 😢❤

Finally, an Iron Giant edit and it didn't disappoint one bit. Definitely one of those movies I wish I could forget all about, just so I could watch it all over again.

This was when films had a beautiful story to show the whole world. These films have so much meaning, that is the reason why the new films are bad, they have no meaning.

I wasn’t around when iron giant was made but growing up it was one of my favorite movies, and it still is
