    I think most people who watch language videos in general are weebs... envious lazy weebs who wish to learn a language but don't have the motivation, the energy, the discipline, but they have lots of experience procrastinating their asses off.

    Чё? Он глoтaет слова, если не отвлекаться на субтитры, то у него русский на уровне пятилетнего ребенка. Может быть все дело в толпе, которая его окружила и не даёт сосредоточиться, но и с остальными языками практически такой же случай. Японский у него вполне.

    @@hugoverefbr4002 ну, он потратил на все языки, кроме японского, ±год, так что я бы не сказал, что он, как для такого времени изучения их плохо говорит. Тип, чел, если ты можешь лучше, будучи двадцати-трёх летнего возраста, то не имею ни малейшей притензии, но в ином случае - не быкуй на человека, который старается, пока ты маешься хренью

    Never have I felt so bested in talking. I shall now do my best to learn new languages to my best abilities. So far I'm fluent in English and learning Japanese, but I wanna try learning more. Please wish me luck, can't wait to embark on this journey. Thank you Ikenna for the inspiration.

    I love how when you tell anyone that you learn Japanese they react like "sure, i believe", but one word on Russian language gives you the power to shock absolutely everyone, including Russians.

    Because spoken Japanese is not very difficult, unlike Russian. The Russian language is too flexible, which is why you will make mistakes very often if you are not a native speaker. The complexity of Japanese is mainly in the hieroglyphs.

    this will never fail to impress me, ive learning japanese for a couple months and have just recently finished memorising all the hirigana. im still terrible at speaking it tho and probably can't rlly say any proper sentences. but i actually downloaded vrchat bc of your videos, it seems like a good way to practice speaking the language youre learning

    @@zonbilol7883 it's probably a mixture of actual like, linguistic similarities (like love languages, slavic languages, etc) and also mentally having a better understanding of where to start, what personally works for you to memorize the words, all that stuff. i think the biggest road block for a lot of native english speakers is honestly knowing where to start and what works, because in school you are (usually) required to take a second language, but they can't individually help everyone find the right way to learn.

    I know two languages but its harder for me to learn any other due to how i learned my first two - it wasn't forced but we had them in school and I find the determination a hard part in order to learn different languages, I feel like if i could travel and go to a tutor that'd be amazing you know? :D

    Ah true, I'm bilingual so I never had a problem with language classes in school. Since most US schools teach a romance language (and my second language is a derivative of many of them)

    @@homuralter is it jhusrt me or does it feel like people loswe their voice tone when they learn more than 2 languages, i mean i get it it's the easiest way to learn another language because wirthout the tone you can roll R's and speak more fluent in different languagfes, but is it really worth someything so needed for your personality to become a big nerd

    @@pinklitegaming9669 because vocalising is the best way of expressing yourself, and it never hurts to learn other languages. Also, the only time you have to ditch tones is when you're speaking formally or just learning, after that you can just revert back to speaking normally.

    UR OFFICIALLY MY IDOL NOWWW!!!! My first language is English but I live near Mexico and my dad lived in Italy so I grew up with those languages. Im currently learning Japanese, Korean, and Russian. I love the video and I hope to do this in the future. :3

    Well he's german, depending on where you live and which school "level" you attend, you start learning french, latin or dutch starting in 6. Grade^^

    @@ZainKaneko Yea, exactly how it really is. Besides the fact that they only really teach formal stuff which is almost always never used by anyone, I feel like depending on the person, I am one, some people need to learn hands on; which in the case of language just comes from talking to people and trying to reproduce what they tell you. My Spanish teacher was dead on when she said that the best way to learn a language is to go to that place and live there for a little bit since it kind of forces you to learn the language, even if in the case of English, that most other people tend to learn it since it is the language of the internet for the most part; that itself being funny since I grew up in the 90s and would have never imagined that people would be this connected like we are.

    @@rumor2073 if you're trying to learn french the only advice I can give you is that the "r" comes from the top of the throat but its the best I can say its so hard to explain when you can make it since you're a child... well anyway I hope this will be useful

    Wait is it really? My teacher told us to try and over exaggerate it until we could control it enough. Almost all of us got it within a couple weeks, if not shorter. I got it from doing the ch sound in “loch” as it’s pretty similar, you just combine that with an r. Now the trilled r is an entirely different story for me. It’s pretty much the only sound I can’t make. I can do an alveolar flap, but not a trill. And I’ve read so many articles and watched so many videos :p

    Congratulations!! I'm a MFL teacher and I love languages. I honestly think that it's extremely important to adapt the way we teach to the real needs of learners. A language is used to communicate, to express ourselves and many times, some methods are really focused on grammar and they forget about other aspects that are very important.

    For what I've heard, this is how Chinese people feel with the written laguage for like the first 10 years of their lives. Also, my personal experience as someone in Spain is... even if you know how to speak, they're still gonna make you learn how to analise a phrases morphologically and syntactically. El perro de Ana es pequeño y adorable. El perro de Ana - Subject El perro - Nucleus de Ana - Adjacent compliment es pequeño y adorable - Nominal predicate (or however it's called in English) es - Nucleus pequeño y adorable - Altribute compliment pequeño - Nucleus y - Conmutative nexus I think idk really adorable - Nucleus . I am NOT gonna analise it morphologically 'cuz that take like f***ing forever to do.

    xscallcos boss, I kinda disagree once you get used to French writing it's fine you can read unknown words based on written words (not vice versa) but in English you can't in both ways so you need to look up dictionary. Russian is the easiest so far cause it's my mother tongue :)

    It's so fun to me that I can understand Dutch because my language is a combination of multiple languages, Dutch is the one I understand the best by being able to hear the words, to clarify I speak English and Africans and I want to study Gealic and Latin

    @@zzureee i speak 2 languages(not English,my English is very bad ), but i do not think in that languages when i translating something, i just think. I mean i speak in these languages but it’s not necessary to start thinking in this language, it all happens in my head and it does not represent work.

    @boy lasagna it’s a party that doesn’t suck typically. It’s incredibly common for us since 3rd parties here don’t usually win besides the one libertarian in congress though can be used in any country that isn’t a 1 party state. America is just most pronounced in this.

    You don't randomly have to respect a culture because it is culture. For example, slave trade was -- and sadly still is -- part of some cultures. Just because something has cultural value doesn't mean it is automatically morally justified. My 2 cents.
