Warsim is awesome and every time I come back to it the game has gotten better and better. One of my favorite solo dev games -- and he loves interacting with everyone too. Such a good guy.

The problem with text based games is that they are only available in English. And there is very difficult to make translation mod without initial help from developer.

100% Agree, In hindsight I could have built Warsim to have much easier external translatability but because it was a test project for myself I didn't need it until it was too late. Won't be making that mistake again though, been asked by people from all over the world about translation and it hurts when I have to say no haha

It's worth saying that using tools like Anime Games Text Hooker, I was playing untranslated japanese games. It wasn't fast, and it was nearly impossible to get cultural jokes, but rough translation was possible with effort. I also played a few German titles as well, though that I found a little easier.

As someone who enjoyed door games back in the BBS days, this looks like lots of fun.

There is a web browser game I used to play all the time called Utopia. This game is pretty close to that so this is right up my alley. People got too good at Utopia but a single player version is what i always wished for lol

Haha, honestly Warsim is just one of those hobby projects made by a novice programmer that got ridiculously out of hand and led to this

@@MegawackyMax I get that, I think Warsim has the look of something that could be super hard to learn but it's a lot easier than things like Dwarf fortress to pick up becaus there aren't any commands or complicated key bindings and structures, it's just numbers If you do jump back in I hope you enjoy it mate

I blame you and Noorkium for being hooked to RimWorld and Dwarf Fortress. Don´t even tell me about this game xD A bit similiar to SanctuaryRPG (which is not bad at all, but it´s more like RPG and no kingdom management)

Nope, it's inspired by DF among others for sure, but doesn't share the same kind of gameplay as DF at all really.
