I really resonate with the idea you mentioned of being around high achievers as being motivating. Here in Montreal, people are generally performing much worse than you, so you feel relaxed and comfortable. I hope to be challenged by Dubai in this way

Exactly what i was struggling with in Denmark as well! Home atm for vacation and it’s crazy to me how quickly i can get sucked into old habits by the environment around me.

Moving soon to Dubai. 120K per month as employee + allowance. I think that’s enough for a reasonable lifestyle. Coming from Switzerland as a high paying country with little less salary but also higher standard of social security…. I am hyped to be there and see what will happen

Hi Rasmus, thanks for your contents! What are your thoughts on high networth individuals move to Dubai if they want to retire and live on Bonds/Fixed term deposit?

Great Content Rasmus! As always. Highly appreciated. Did you use a local legal company to set up your company in Dubai? Any recommendation?

Hi Rasmus! Great video! I have the same problem with my corporate bank account. I’m flying to Dubai end of July, would like to meet up and talk business if you are cool with that!

Thanks for watching! I'll be in Denmark until end of august, so if you're still in Dubai at that time we can meet up!

I believe the UAE will navigate that better than any country in the west, if they implement it or not we will have to see. But i think UAE and Dubai especially did better than almost every country in the west. It's probably impossible to get away from some of the control that the WHO and western governments are trying to impose on the world, but that's why having a job or business that can give you location and financial freedom is super important. Then you can just move to the next country

I don't mean to come to your content and sound like a Debby downer always. However am a firm believer that you need to get out of your apartment and do some research prior to posting content as such. Do you know how many of these blue colar workers came to Dubai while they have MBAs and a wealth of experience from their countries (skilled) 🤔 and can't get a job that's highly skilled because of the passport I hold ? When you say they are not in the right jobs because they do not have high paying skills Is a blanket statement!! You say that's what you "truly" believe!! I have been here as a tourist and have spoken to a lot of people while on excursions and it's the same ol story. $1k might be nothing to you but for the blue colar who earns $300 monthly that's...

It has nothing to do with the passport you hold. If you don't provide value to a company, you're not gonna get a high paying job. That's my entire point. A blue collar worker, lets say an electrician, does not provide any value to the company besides his billable hours which the company is responsible for getting. So he's not providing to the actual growth of the company. A high paying skill he could add onto his expertise would be selling, and actually giving the company more business. Now, all of a sudden, he's a revenue stream and an asset to the company and will make way more money. Clocking in and fixing toilets for 8 hours is not a high paying skill. I know plenty of people here that actually provides direct growth to the companies they work in and they get compensated much better. That's the whole argument which no business owner will disagree with. I also believe in self accountability, and if you're unable to get paid your dream salary it's on you to find a way to make that happen. Don't blame your passport, don't blame your employer or the country you want to move to. Holding yourself accountable for your situation is the only path to actually get what you want in life.

@@rasmusgutfelt I think you are disconnected from the reality thats in Dubai. I have zero desire to move to Dubai as am pretty much where I want to be career wise in the United States. In a prefect world what you wrote will make sense however am sure you won't know since your preferred way of living and the people you associate with are of a higher caliber. My assumption from the gyms you said you attend, friends you make..... since you are intelligent I would assume 9 months after being in Dubai. You should know the reality. Talk to the maids that you say clean up your house. The so called workers whom you enjoy bringing everything at the footsteps of your door.
