We flew to Dubai from Bucharest a few weeks ago. New subscriber here. I found your channel as we consider investing and a partial move to Dubai or Southern Europe from the U.S and Mexico. If you love Mexican food, you gotta eat at Taqueria El Torito in Bucharest. Not too far from the Parliament. My wife is Mexican and we’ve lived in Mexico and I can emphatically say that it’s one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever eaten at anywhere on this planet. Keep up the great work. I’m rooting for you to get to $100K a month! The first month you hit it will make you smile! I was grinning like an idiot for 72 hours straight the first month I got there. And when you hit it, don’t rest. Hit the pedal and ride that momentum! Momentum is easier to maintain and grow than to build!

Hello Rasmus, congratulations on the move and Goodluck, you re definitely right about the weather, Romania has hot summers, and long, cold winters and very distinct seasons in general. When I saw you first video about cost of living in Dubai, I knew it wasn't sustainable tbh, I thought you were paying too much on rent ( more than 60% of your monthly expense), and you weren't doing as many 'Touristy' activities as you should be, because that's what Dubai is there for, really. Hopefully the change of weather and location can motivate you to grow more, Best of luck.

Thank you! No you're right, i wasn't seeing a lot of Dubai, but that was mostly by design. I chose to stay home and work to try and grow my business. Excited for this chapter, i'll keep you posted about my progress and journey!

Hey Rasmus, haven't been checking out on your content for some time. Didn't expect you to move out of Dubai. Actually also moved not that long ago, to Warsaw. I don't know if you've ever been there, but many of the points you mention are true for Poland as well. But Warsaw is much nicer to live in and the country is moving forward much faster (many new towers been built, a lot of energy in the city/things open early-close late, better infrastructure, more developed overall, etc) while Bucharest seemed a bit more behind and growing less when I visited 1.5yr ago. Anyhow, best of luck on your goal! Hit me up if you're visiting Warsaw, it's worthwhile.

Fedt content. Minder lidt om dig selv. Tænker meget på Dubai men ørken varmen blir lidt for tungt. Overvejer stærkt syd Italien, Spanien eller Rumænien. Mere content på Rumænien ku være fedt 💪

Do you still need to be in Dubai for 90 days a year because you have company set up there?

@@rasmusgutfelt can you spend the rest of the year (270 days) in romania without being a tax resident?

How are you still able to have your company in Dubai, while not having to stay in Dubai? I thought you had to stay for a minimum time to be a tax resident in Dubai.

Having a company and where you’re personally tax liable is two different things. But you have to stay 3 months a year to keep your personal tax residency in Dubai. Since i left mid september, i’m still a tax resident in Dubai. Even if i’m not, i can still keep my company

what about living in Dubai in 3 months during the winter then rest of the year in Romania, to get the tax benefits.

Hey guys, could you give further explanation? Based on my knowledge you can get a tax residency in Dubai by living there 3 months during the one year period, but in that case you can´t live more than 3 months in other country (in this case Romania) during one year period.

That would be 6 months in Romania. I’m not 100% sure on the rules either. But i have my Emirates ID and all my financial interests in Dubai and literally nothing in Romania. So i’m going with the logic that i have from Dubai

bruh, i think you are new to Romania, but be ready when to discover new places or hang out far from your where you live to be stressed and on your guards against thieves and scammer, even officials there are scammer, i can tell you my journeys in Bucharest for days, how i got robbed twice in front of ( gara de nord ) and police was watching doing nothing, and then said if you want to make a statement go to the police office lol, how i got pricked with a syringe by those night workers, and when i went to the hospital it looked worse then a prison in colombia, how those street children make a circle arround me and try to grab my wallet, on how the bus controllers tries to give me a fine while have my ticket bought but they try to convince you that its not valid and grab some cash from or they will call the police, on how my home owner stole my money from the apartment i was renting, on how other home owners didn't give me back my caution money, on the dirtiness of restaurant, so cold in winter, and so hot in summer, the gold diggers, the friends of interest, taxi scammers, bruh what did you do ? forget about the peace on mind when walking and jogging in Dubai, i mean you are making almost 100K you said a month, does really 1 or 2k of expenses makes a difference to you ? but you keep the security of living and the normal people in Dubai ? i dont know about Copenhagen never been there but i guess that you are vaccinated and you can handle big cities since you said they are almost the same, if spending less is the only thing you think about, i guess you can spend just 200€ in Thailand per month apartment included lol, or north African countries like Morrocco and Tunisia or Egypt, i dunno i just have a trauma from Romania
