Its important to note for rakdos that tapping him isnt a part of the cost so you can do it 4 times per turn cycle

​@etsqeezietran6316 a turn "cycle" is going around the table back to you. So you do it on each person's turn and your turn that's 4 activations.

Rakdos Commander... Ashnod's Altar - sac for mana, exile opponents top, play opponents creatures you then sac into the altar again, and so on? if you hit 1/2 mana creatures, you can continue forever (sac a big one into it too, to get a bigger Exile pile you can play of if necessary, and have your normal mana also if you hit 3+ cost cards).

You can do squee and pitiless plunderer with a sac outlet

I pulled Ghired at the prerelease and I'm super excited to build him. He's gonna be so fun.

I’m so excited to play with new rakdos. Im gonna enjoy playing my opponents deck

That new Ghired is kind of like a deck I recently built but better since it's Naya colors instead of the Gruul I was using.

I've played with the new Rakdos quite extensively and he seems very strong

I'm making a deck with Ghired as commander, with myriad creatures, legion loyalty, doubling season, and warstorm surge.

@ACornerPieceGallery there are better haste enchantments and creatures that all my creatures haste. Anger put into my graveyard, for example.

Copy token creature would work nicely with Smaug

Ghired and Bramble Sovereign were made for each other.

Obeka, kellan, loot and taii wakeen are the best commanders that come out this set

i want to build Ghired and vihaan since i saw them in cards list :D

I built a Vial Smasher/Akul Deck some days ago. It's basically just an aggressive Crime/Outlaw-Deck but I think Vial Smasher will be fun🤣

Personally i find Riku of many paths yo be the most fun comander to come out of the set

You only need to sacrifice one creature for Rakdos. You get both abilities

Rakdos is also a combo outlet for Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar

What happen to his guild? And why he’s there?

Why did they make Rakdos the new Umbris Horror that can play the stuff? Draco and Shadow of Mortality now have another use and it isn't beating an opponent's life total down... again.

Sorry to ruin the fun for Ghired enjoyers, but don't, trust me, the commander is broken by design and will go infinite so easily you'll get bored out after 2 games, and your playgroup will hate you for it, also the dec is super expensive so it's really not worth it...

@@rkano5748 well yes, but even then it what’s the point, the effect is either super strong or really boring, I mean, a fair way to use it would be « turn X I play a token, turn X+1 I make another token, then I copy it by tapping my previous one, turn X+2 rince and repeat » The card does nothing original even compared to other tokens commander, even in Naya, and the commander deck running tokens are among the most expensive to build, even casually, so why do it either way ? Everyone is free to do whatever they want, I just put this warning sign before people start spending crazy on a broken commander, or a boring one, because they’ll end up disappointed anyway and most players will still kill it on sight even if played fair

@lasterman94100 you have access to naya, you can make literally make a token of anything in those colors and just make tokens of what you find cool. Think outside the box, its only as boring as your sense of creativity.

@@rkano5748 Nah, this commander is pure value, it will be as broken as it is boring, because uniqueness comes from specific effects offering narrow lines of play, forcing to find specific cards and pushing you deckbuilding and play patterns to their maximum, on the other hand, this doesn’t bring anything new to the table, no matter what token type you chose to abuse with it, it will be as powerful as you make it, but never interesting to play, and everyone will sigh when you put it on the table… Now, since you claim only boring people will make this boring, and I don’t want to stop your fun, be my guest, show me a list to prove me wrong, can’t wait to read doubling season, parallel lives, Mondrak, Ojer Taq, and all those Naya original cards and to dose off before finishing the list…
