bluetroubled1 Doubtful that Brett would be interested in joining Kenny’s band. Much more money to be made writing songs at home, in addition to the comfort of sleeping in your own bed.

Simply fantastic. Easy to like Brett's version. Kenny even admits that Brett has a range that he doesn't. Just too bad that Brett doesn't do club tours where he can perform the fantastic songs he's written / co-written.

When I read that interview I got a good laugh out him saying. B/c it is true.

Nicer than Kenny Chesney's delivery......but Kenny sells the records and does the tours....and Brett banks the Bucks!

I hope Brett banks some bucks for his wonderful songs. The current state of the music world tends to screw the songwriter. It is what it is, but I hope it gets fixed so that songwriters can make a living to pay their bills.
