For me: I putting a boundary around my mind & I am cutting out completely all reality TV. This is a conviction God has placed on my heart and something that I see the fruit of already!!

Just felt called to share this, recently been going through a tough time financially and with my health. Been detached from God for quite some time now due to my circumstances and I used to be quite spiritual and pray a lot. Few nights ago, I got down on my knees and prayed for my health to get better and for me to stay consistent with eating healthy, prayed for my finances to improve, and to allow me to finally be able to secure an apartment of my own. Lord and behold I’ve been consistent with my diet/exercise and my health been getting better, moving into an apartment, and secured a good job to where I can finally survive on my own. I’ve been seeing a lot of your videos down my algorithm and subscribed. ❤

Hi sis❤️🇿🇦..the boundary I am setting today is not engaging in negative conversations, not engaging in conversations of complaining and talking trash about men. And that means I need to spend less time with my " friends" because whenever I'm with them we are always complaining and talking about how men are dogs etc and that just drains me and causing me to be so negative. I know God sees the best in each one of us and that's how I should be as a Christian. Complaining magnifies the problem, Worship magnifies God and declares him capable of solving the problem.❤️

Had to run this video back and watch it a second time. This was sooooo good! All glory to God for the way he's using you to minister to your sisters, including myself. You really hit the nail on the head for alot of us this week. One thing I would like to add is that we have to find the fun in our consistent acts of faith. I truly believe the enemy tries to creep into our thoughts and convince us that this lifestyle is lame or colorless, and that's a huge LIE. So incorporate some fun into your routines. Whether it's a dance warm-up before you do your devotion, or starting your day with some music to get your energy higher, or even just incorporating God into the fun activities you do in life. Thanking him each day for the fun, the laughter you enjoyed that day, give God credit for the good/high moments of your life. Perspective is key. Thanks for your tips too, sis. Much needed! Enjoy your weekend. XO

I was uncuffed from secular music about a year ago. On very rare occasions, I will listen to old school r&b (like 90s) - and I’ll humor my kids sometimes and listen to the Descendants or Trolls soundtrack or something like that. But I pretty much primarily only listen to worship music - all genres. My girls like to listen to Kidz Bop but I’ve found a lot of those songs are wholly inappropriate for children to be singing (like I Can’t Feel My Face… why are we singing this???) so I don’t usually let them listen to that anymore either. Besides, they love worship music too! 😆

One boundary that I can set that would help me to be more consistent with God is learning to let go. To TRULY let go and let God. As a relatively new born again Christian, my past habits of trying to control everything (and making myself anxious and worrisome) is a hard one to shake. I’ve gotten better at it, but I’m going through some things now that are really testing my ability to let go of the reigns (or at least stop trying to take the reigns) and it’s hard. I’ve entered into a phase of my life where I’ve been made to feel uncomfortable and I can’t figure out the origin of why; I have to assume it’s God. I’m just trying to navigate all the things I have going on and trying to learn to really put it all on his shoulders so that I can truly live by faith and not by sight. Please pray for me. Pray that I learn to truly trust God deeply and stop worrying so much. Pray for my strength. I have no doubt that God will get me through all that I’m dealing with right now, but I just need to know that someone cares. Thank you.

You are such an inspiration! ❤️ My boundary will be on food. I have been convicted about my relationship with food. I eat when I’m happy, sad, mad, frustrated…literally any overwhelming emotion. I’ve realized I should result to praying or seeking guidance. I just came off a 7-day fast from meat and it was amazing. A year ago or even a few months ago I know there is no way I would’ve even THOUGHT about fasting.

I enjoyed this topic! The boundary that I had to enforce was getting rid of all my social medias. It wasn’t healthy and it took away ALL of my attention from the Lord. At one point my screen time was so high I had to do a double take. Plus, I felt terrible after getting offline. I’d have a blessed day, but one of the mutuals would be posting depressing things and I couldn’t allow those things into my spirit anymore. It’s been months since I’ve been active in any social platform (besides YT) and I feel great! And I’ve started a few Bible challenges and went back to church so things have been looking up!

What stuck out to me was to accept that seasons change. Just because my walk with Christ was easy last month doesn’t mean it will be easy today and that is okay. What worked then might not work now and I will adjust accordingly!

Amen and Amen!!!! Very much needed topic sister Melody!!!!! Being consistent in my relationship with our Lord and Savior is so important and I’m in need of it. One of many ways for me is that I find myself talking more to God and rebuking distractions (trying to do it regularly). God is with us every step of the way as long as we are in step with Him. God bless all His children and thank you for sharing sister Melody🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

This came at just the right time! I’m a mom of two under two and have been struggling to make a daily prayer time for over a year now. It really brings me such feelings of shame and frustration. This video was such an encouragement, thank you! 🙌🏻 🕊️

My boundary is just being mindful of the things I’m watching. I usually watch a lot of shows that are either Reality TV, serial killer related, etc. But lately I’ve been convicted about several shows especially with it being October:
