Almost 10 years together. Took me 2 years but I'm finally moving on and it's not killing me. I'm tired of holding on and getting hurt. Sometimes letting go is better. "I loved who you were before but you're not the same anymore" that hit me. He's not the same anymore

OK this is confusing. but my dad married a girl, she had a son my age. we were siblings. when they split up, him and i still considered each other siblings and we talked every day. his mom got mad that he was still talking to me so she took his phone and other devices to talk to me. only problem is that even tho he promised that he would call me after he got those things back. he still hasn't texted me, or called, and from other resources i know he has the ability to. i have tried my whole life to be there for him and acted like i liked his things so that i could hang out with my big bro, but this song is me trying to say good bye, and admit we are not as close anymore.

In life you need closure. Take the step to message him and express what you need to to be able to let go. It might backfire but at least you'll know that you tried. I feel like you need to just let go of the past and all the shit you're holding on to. He doesn't wanna talk to you, it just means he showed his true colours. It could also be his mum could have said something bad or lied? Just take the leap and get your closure girl. I'm always up for a chat if you need it 🖤

My heart got broke this guy and now 9 months later he is back. I'm going back kind of scared though because I cried every night for 6 months and still sometimes cry. I'm scared I'm going to get broken a second time but I'm putting my heart in it because I love him. He is like a new person now so I'm learning who he is now and I'm still falling more and more for him and I'm really scared.

I met my fiancé in a behavioral hospital. We were both struggling with our addictions at the time but our love and sobriety became everything to us. He was such a lively, sweet man. Then he began to relapse and hide it from me. My sadness and anger drove me to relapse too and that's where I had to draw the line. Yesterday I kicked him out of my house (in a very intense way) and now he is at the same hospital we met at. I LOVED who he was, but that guy is long gone.
