Those of us that have been following and watching the HSCC since the beginning have seen Kat Jade grow up in front of us. Her voice is amazing, and this band is as solid as ever. This was a great version of this classic song. Great job!!

The original song was written by Clint Ballard in 1963 (sung by Dee Dee Warwick)but the first major hit recording was by Betty Everett on VeeJay records in the same year. As a geezer this is the version that I recall until I heard Linda Ronstadt's version in 1973.

The moment I saw this post, I instantly knew I was in for a real treat. You never cease to amaze and never disappoint! Thanks so much everyone. Cheers!

This song has been recorded 5 times ! Originally by Dee Dee Warwick , sister to Dionne in 1963 . The following year , Betty Everett recorded it . Then in 1965 , The Swinging Blue Jeans did it . Van Halen even recorded it in the '80s . Linda Ronstadt's version as you did here is widely known and you guys did an outstanding job !
