She truly is, an incredible performance, but also literally every other member of the band deserves a massive shout-out. Percussion, horns, bass, backing vocals, and keyboard (in no particular order) all make this what it is!

It's impossible that there is a singer or a band that can sound any better than Kat and HSCC now. I have access to every type of music and performer as we all do, and I don't even listen to anything else but my catalog of tunes from these exceptional musicians. I wonder when the world is going to recognize what wonderful performers they all are they get recognized at the Grammy's for it. Such an exceptional group for such a long period of time. Australia should have its own Grammies and HSCC should be on it.

They are great! Lexington Lab Band is equally as good! The two are exceptional!

Obviously, Kat is an amazing vocalist as we've seen for years now. But this to me, is her best performance yet. Just stellar. Incredible range and power. Love it. Great job by all!

An almost impossible song to cover as Jocelyn Brown's vocals are so powerful + unique, this is something else and what a vocal range, outstanding.

Kat Jade!!!! Damn that was FIRE…..soulful, sexy, sassy and finished it off with a couple Mariah-like, vocal cord snapping runs. Then add Con breaking out his Fender and popping the funk right out of it, and boys and girls, we have a winner! But the HSCC wasn’t done! Just for fun let’s throw in some incredible backing vocals, a raspy sax solo, and the visual pleasure of watching some of the most incredible musicians on earth smiling, dancing, and just basking in the moment, while us mortals just soak it all in. Can’t think of a better way to start the weekend (other than watching this another 10-15 times!)BRAVO my friends….well done!

I think I know what is going on at HSCC, whenever Con wants to cover a song that is really hard to sing, he calls Pocket Rocket Powerhouse singer Kat Jade to see if she's free? Probably has her on speed dial. Katherine - lovely entertainment, nice dancing, beautiful glad rags and 10/10 for vocals (as usual). HSCC goes from strength to strength.

Kat looks breathtaking in that outfit but whats coming out of her mouth is probably even more WOAH WOW ... I've got the chills !

One of my favourite all time songs by Jocelyn Brown but boy oh boy did Kat do an amazing cover of this song - on par with the original - sensational

The talent in this band is endless!!! Kat has become legend!

love to attend their show, wish they would tour USA. Kat is so versatile , can sing anything, just a beautiful voice.

The one thing that I'm constantly reminded of when watching (THSC²) is how intricate the instrumentation is. When you listen to a song on the radio or streaming, you don't appreciate the talent of the musicians and the engineering to make all of this happen. I am always amazed by your talent, especially when you do R&B or Funk.

1000% true!! It’s hard to appreciate all of the talent, timing, and intricacies without seeing while listening… unless you’re really familiar with what it takes to sound so good. Like they say, seeing is believing, and HSCC shows us every week. 👍🏾

Not easy to sing a Joceyln Brown song, it takes a lot guts. One of the great things I like about Kat is not only does she like to challenge herself but also sing the difficult songs. That's why she is the best female vocalist at HSCC.

I don't remember this song from the middle to late 1980s. Went back to look at Ms. Jocelyn's rendition. She was excellent in a live video. Unfortunately, the band behind her played in obscurity. When I have looked at this video by the great HSCC, this is awesome. Kat Jade has some incredible singing chops. I believe now more than ever, Dynamite comes in small packages. Kat always delivers. So does Con and the Band. I love being a force multiplier for this great group. Continued great success. Hope to see you somewhere in this incredible world LIVE! God's blessings to you all.

This is always a classic jam that never gets old! Great job on a pretty difficult song… lots of syncopation, up-tempo, with a very challenging lead vocal. When I saw the title, I knew Kat had to be on lead 😂. It suits her and she has the vocals to handle this piece ❤️. Speaking of vocals, Kat can belt and vocal fry with the best of them, but I heard her go up into her head voice for a few measures towards the end. She’s more of a power vocalist (very impressive considering her size 👍🏾), but she transitions into her head voice in the upper registers really nicely… terrific vocal flexibility which takes a lot of time, hard work, and care to not damage anything in the process. And I can’t say enough about the arrangement and musicianship… just outstanding!! Kudos to the brilliance that is HSCC 👏🏾👏🏾. HAPPY HSCC THURSDAY EVERYONE!!!! 🎊🎉🎊🎉

Size has nothing to do with it. Lots of small people have huge voices. It’s all about support and technique.

I've never seen singers so in tune in my life, that's incredible... Besides being beautiful, of course!

I just got hooked by Kat and the HSCC Band - SUPER talented group of vocalists and musicians.

This Jocelyn Brown classic is a hard song to cover because Jocelyn has an incredibly powerful voice that is pitch-perfect and flawless in her timing and delivery of the lyrics . I have heard other very good singers cover this song and some do a pretty good job, but Kat is the only one that I have heard that reached the very high bar set by the incredible Jocelyn Brown.

Wow.....Gospel and the blue eyed Philly Soul punching it with those background vocals and the funky rhythm section. Dang. So good and in the pocket. Laying it down.

Kat, you performed an amazing rendition of this 80's classic! If the walls of Jericho were still standing, they would surely fall just from the power of your voice.
