Iskender Celebi puts more pressure on Ibrahim. Ibrahim gets Iskender Celebi's accounts checked. Iskender Celebi doesn't accept the situation. The fight between them gets bigger rapidly. Ibrahim expels Iskender Celebi. Sultan Suleiman reacts harshly to this decision.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Honestly, this bit at 6:56 highlights where the historical changes the show creates start to become a little murky. Because, historically, Mahidevran is considered the last concubine to follow the "old ways" in following her son to his sanjak postings. It was something that, by comparison, Hürrem couldn't do because the "one son to one woman" rule had been broken for her and, due to her rank, if she occupied the sanjak of one son over the others than that son would be seen to have an unfair advantage. (There were probably personal reasons for to remain behind too as Cihangir's chronic illnesses could best be treated in the capital, so, technically, she did stay with one of her sons.)

This is, admittedly, a moment where I can't entirely blame Ibrahim for being enraged when the slights being leveled against him are similar to those that occur when people want to throw their elitism into Hürrem's face. The two of them are such great foils for a reason, after all.

Ibrahim is a snake in Pasha’s clothing, the more his hands get dirty, the more power he wants, he’s the kind of character you cannot wait to see the end of !
