    Great video Tyler, as your typical dad will say to his son ‘’ you’ll probably catch fishing if you cast deeper’’ but that not always the case well every one of your vids helps me so much I caught two bass today ok blew out on my wacky rig on matted cover, and one ate my wacky work up shallow, and they were both ok my neighborhood pond

    Also if your on your boat find a large stick or pole to bring with you to use instead of rod tip a long pole. Sounds crazy but it's better. If you have a collapsible pole like say for a big pruning saw to cut branches leave the saw blade at home an bring pole to check the bottom. If you don't have a long pruning saw pole try finding a long tree branch or if you can't use butt end of rod not the tip

    Does this relate to rivers?

  • @TylersReelFishing

    @TylersReelFishing

    2 жыл бұрын

    As far as spring goes, yes! The fish spawn up shallow in rivers as well, and as much out of the current as they can. They might not all spawn at the same times as pond or lake fish however, since most rivers have constant water temperature because of flowing water. It is more dependent on moon phase than it is water temperature in rivers

    Tyler I'm by no means a professional or even considered a good fishermen but wouldn't it be better to use the butt of the rod? That way you don't damage the guide or guide support at the end of the rod 🤔🤔🤔

  • @TylersReelFishing

    @TylersReelFishing

    2 жыл бұрын

    You can't effectively get to the lure with the butt. If done correctly, you won't damage the rod. Most guys do it too hard
