The amount of times we sang this in high school 😂 but the most special was when one of our classmates had to suddenly get a really major surgery. She couldn’t make our concert, and our choir director came over to my choir class that she was in (all the school’s choir classes were singing it together) and he said “this one is for [her].” Still cry when I watch a video of that particular performance.

As a choir kid who appreciates this song, I hope my choir sings this
