The only thing that I thought would have been better is that there be some closure to this. Like you find Mildred in Saint Denis and deliver the news. As sad as that would be, it's better than just leaving her hanging.

What’s funny or sad is I found parts of the story, but I didn’t connect them. 😢 There’s a lot of sad stories in this game.

I only found the letter from Mildred to Jim on my most recent playthrough. It's really quite amazing how the devs managed to place all these mini-puzzles all over the map for players to discover (or not). It's one of the many, many things that make this game such a unique and satisfying experience even after multiple playthroughs.

I found this secret before. It's a very sad secret.
