You NEED To Visit Tofino's Neighbor, UCLUELET, BC
We traveled to Ucluelet BC to see what there is to do there. Getting there was an adventure in itself with all the twisty roads. Poor Benny, our cat, was sick twice!
Ucluelet is a small town located about 30 minutes south of Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island. This small island community is a popular fishing destination, and also acts as a sort of “Tofino overflow” for beach goers and surfers. The Pacific Rim National Park separates the two towns and there is a bicycle trail that runs the whole distance between Ucluelet and Tofino, too.
While in Ucluelet we walked the Wild Coast Trail, ate gourmet hot dogs at Ukee Dogs, and went on a whale watching and wildlife tour with Subtidal Adventures. We wished that we could have stayed longer to check out the hiking and bike trail. Those will have to be reasons for us to go back one day!

Your videos just get more beautiful and I didn’t even get sea sick on the whale watching tour! Now you can add cliff jumper to your resume! Poor Benny - I’ve driven that route several times and always think it must be a little challenging with a trailer!

The jump was fun, the icy cold water was rough. Definitely scored the best seats and not on purpose. They told us to sit there! 🙌

Cool, yeah, we couldn't get over how huge it was. It looks sort of tropical and Jurassic.

It seems we got super lucky. We were there just a couple of weeks ago and everyone was telling us how it usually rains a lot there.
