Wayne.wav how would you go about panning backing tracks or hook dubs when everything is being sent to a mix bus for leads and for backings.?? i’ll pan individual tracks but since they all get sent to a mono to stereo bus they just sound centered

Question: How do you Jump to the Beginning OR End of a Clip B? With a Shortcut - For ex: If I'm recording, and I got my wav on the track, and I wanted to record another track directly under that one, but I want the beginning of the clips to match up exactly at the exact point of the timeline, is there a way to do that?

Thanks for doing these video tutorials and tips on using Pro Tools. They have been very helpful. I have two different audio interfaces hooked to my computer. If I save a project using one of the interfaces and then configure Pro Tools to use the other audio interface in a different project, shouldn’t the first audio interface assignments be loaded when I reload the project that I assigned it to? wave man! love your work man i do have a question about how ppl go about panning left and right on thee backing vocals when they’re all being sent out to a mix buss. if i pan the individual track it’s still being sent to a mix bus so it still plays in the center. how do you keep them all on the same mix bus and still pan?

Is it possible to record a section in the grid and then play it back (in a different track) while you keep playing.. im thinking of live situations or streaming. Lets say I have a project with a build-up of an instrument (lets say guitars) and instead of using stems I want to build them live as I'm playing along the song. Is that possible?

Awesome! Thank You! But for making beats i really wish you could loop record back to back like in reason, logic, Ableton, etc like set the right and left marker to a 4 bar or 8 bar loop you know what i mean? Instead of having to select where it loops every time and the loop goes away right when i click some where else. hopefully pro tools adds this later in the future.

If I make a drum kick that I want to loop, sometimes the loop is off time. So if the drum kick is 4/4 I can highlight the drum loop, but maybe I highlighted a slight bit to much or to little, so the drum loop is off. Is there a way to auto loop in a certain messaure and tempo? So, one drum kick, loop that at 4/4 at 120bpm? Hope that makes sense

Hey Wayne, when making beats in Pro Tools 12, I loop the track at 8 bars and start recording drums. When the track loops, it deletes what I just made. How do I sequence beats like Reason or Studio one, etc?

I'm a student at cogswell college I want to know why my protools keep going out ? I just brought me a new laptop with 16gb and 1Tb ssd coreI7 with Nivida can you help me figure it out
