Thanks to both Chuck and Joss for the breakdown! I'm excited to see how this turns out. I'm not a huge fan of the timeline stuff being in a right-click menu, but that's just because of how used to the old UI I am, I'm sure the adjustment will be easy. Lot's of great new features to mess with, I'm curious how it'll affect models outside of the minecraft style. only one way to find out!

I tried it out and I'm in love with it. It's so great and I just started using Mine-imator. You should give it a try. And fair warning. Animations take longer to render because of the new engine of pre-release 5. But I recommend setting samples to 12 or 10. It will take less time.

Early this «Brightness» was available on 2015-2021 versions of Mine-imator, but on 2022 version I can't find this function.

I have a question but I feel that I should ask this in the forums, but anyway my question is, why in the previous version of mine imator when rendering an animation it took, an animation of 4 minutes, 2 hours or 3 to export, and now in this version it takes 5 days if you can explain that to me I would appreciate it very much

The newer version samples frames in a different way due to the new effects added, such as reflections and indirect lighting, now that it renders samples one by one(if I'm correct) and the improved graphics mean it takes longer per frame to render. Tldr; higher quality now makes MI take longer to render.

excuse me can i ask you a question i hope you answer my comment, why exporting animation take so long? and what those sample means in render setting bcs i dont quite understand, when im exporting the animation it takes long like u have to wait like 1 hour for the 22 second animation. is tehre a way to quicker the exporting?????

You have to either hold click or right click and hold in to be abe to move So basically like press & hold, then do wasd

It's a false flag. No worries, it's safe.

Every time i try and export something, the program stalls for like 4 minutes, then it says it's gonna take 4 hours to render (even though it's like 10 seconds long). It is on the verge of crashing every time it exports a singal frame. Does anyone know how to fix this.

Go to render setting then set the samples to 1 but it will decrease the new effect quality(like indirect lighting and refelction). ANd the shadows too will decrease(a little) of it quality. If you still want to use 1 sample then turn of indirect lighting and some other new stuff that use samples. Then set the shadow to very high or the maxinum quality

We chose to update this video on his channel since his audience is more oriented towards tutorial content. Chuck will likely voice over/have involvement in future uploads, but AFAIK he plans to host other creator's tutorials on his channel.

-Go to the mine imator folder.(right click the icon then open file location). -goto Data -goto Minecraft -there should be 1.18 or 1.19 .midata and .zip. -delete it -reinstall mine imator on the same folder
